Moderator:

Yeah. What are you going to do?

Respondent:

We're going to go Nando’s

Moderator:

Nice. What's your order from Nando's?

Respondent:

There's a big champion, a big chicken.

Moderator:

Do you like spice you like hot food?

Respondent:

Yeah

Moderator:

Nice. Right. So, another couple of things that I'm just going to say is this is now
recorded. So, at any point, if you want to stop, you can, you just have to press that
stop button in the middle there. So that's completely fine. You can do that if you want
to. Otherwise, we'll just stop it at the end. And then I've got these cards if you don't
want to tell, you can tell me that you want to stop at any point or stop at yourself if
you want to grab a red card or know that you just want to stop and carry on. Is that
alright?

Respondent:

Yeah
Moderator:

Fabulous? So doing all of that stuff at the beginning. The first thing I want to start
with is asking you so you said that you should be in tutorial right now. Is that right?

Respondent:

Yeah.

Moderator:

And what sort of things do you do in tutorial?

Respondent:

No, sometimes you do work if you don't have no work and sometimes you [INAUDIBLE
VOICE 41:37]

Moderator:

and what time does tutorial finished? Do you know?

Respondent:

Two o'clock

Moderator:

And then what have you got this afternoon?

Respondent:

Maths with [NAME]

Moderator:

Okay and how did you find that

Respondent:

a bit hard or bit difficult to

Moderator:

And what you do in British values?

Respondent:

like friendship and relationships.

Moderator:

Sounds good. And do you what would you say is your favourite subjects that you do
here? Your favourite lesson?

Respondent:

Won't be school because that's why we got to be in it will be high schools, arts and crafts
enterprise.

Moderator:

Okay, and what do you like about that? Arts and crafts and enterprise?

Respondent:

We'll learn how to make a rainbow or snow mounds or something like that.

Moderator:

Sounds good. And did you say that was [NAME] your high school?

Respondent:

Yeah.

Moderator:

So, do you call the teachers and things by the first names here?

Respondent:
Yeah

Moderator:

And did you use to do that at the school? You went to before?

Respondent:

No, I used to call them Mates.

Moderator:

Yeah. And which do you prefer?

Respondent:

Yeah [INAUDIBLE VOICE]

Moderator:

Why is that?

Respondent:

[INAUDIBLE VOICE 3:09 to 3:14] [BACKGROUND NOISE]

Moderator:

Yes. Yeah. No, that makes sense. Definitely. And how about your least favourite
subjects?

Respondent:

It'd be your garden and spoons.

Moderator:

And why is that?

Respondent:

Because garden will not have to go on the catwalk [3:42 INAUDIBLE VOICE] . We do the
same stuff over and over Nobody gets bored, So

Moderator:

Do you find doing the same stuff is different?

Respondent:

I would like to do the different stuff

Moderator:

Okay, and what kind of different stuff that you like to do? Don’t need to answer if you
don’t know

Respondent:

Probably by doing different stuff every week Yeah.

Moderator:

And did you get to choose your subjects when you came here to me?

Respondent:

Yeah. So, we do options on Thursdays and Fridays, for gardening, community arts and
crafts or ICT or animation. Choose two of those.

Moderator:

So, you chose gardening, sports?

Respondent:

Yeah
Moderator: [5:00]

And how come you didn't choose the others? You could say it I won’t tell anyone,
any reason particular it doesn't matter if not

Respondent:

I don't know why I didn't choose the other options.

Moderator:

No problem. What about so what year Are you in here [NAME] How does it work? If
you've got like three-year groups or two-year groups? And again, it doesn't matter if
you're not sure.

Respondent:

Yeah, so its ability depends on sort of where they are. So, we've got independence, then
we've got developer, then we've got access, then we've got vocational. Indeed, it's called
independence. So, it's sort of like trying to count money and trying to become an
independent person. And then development and access, and then that gradually goes up.
But it's looking to prepare people to work, etc. Yeah, I mean, [NAME] in the second highest,
which is access. We've got people from 16 to 20 In that class.

Moderator:

Okay, cool. And when did you come here, [NAME], when did you start?

Respondent:

I forgot when I start

Moderator:

As it been like, a couple of years or?

Respondent:

Couple of years. Yeah. So, then September

Moderator:

yeah. Nice, Okay And what can you remember where you were before that?

Respondent:

I was in my second school.

Moderator:

Can you remember the name of it?

Respondent:

It was [INAUDIBLE VOICE 6:33]

Moderator:

And how did you find it?

Respondent:

They are crazy and difficult and lots of Fights.

Moderator:

Okay. And you said lots of fights. Like can you tell me a bit more about that?

Respondent:

Arguments, pushing and punching or something like that

Moderator:

And what did you think about that? How did you feel when that happened?
Respondent:

Oh, I don’t want to get involved, and just come on cover on my day, I'm not getting involved
with the fights.

Moderator:

And when you moved here, can you remember if you're old if your secondary school
helps you to move it?

Respondent:

Yeah, one of my mates helped me to come

Moderator:

Okay, and what sort of things did they do to help you can you remember?

Respondent:

Going into this college and just watch your video? That's how I got it.

Moderator:

Okay. And did you choose this college?

Respondent:

Yeah,

Moderator:

What did you like about it to choose it?

Respondent:
I mean, just to get away from crazy people on the secondary school and teachers as well.
Annoying teachers.

Moderator:

Okay. Yeah. So, was there an option to stay at your secondary school if you wanted
to?

Respondent:

Yeah, that will be in sixth

Moderator:

Okay, but you wanted to move like you said,

Respondent:

Yeah.

Moderator:

And you said that the teachers were a bit annoying. Can you tell me a bit more about
that?

Respondent:

They just say you're late. Detention. Do your homework. You're late for the lessons

Moderator:

Did you feel that they like supported you in any way?

Respondent:

No

Moderator:
What Would you have preferred them to have done or what would you like?

Respondent:

No to complain about me and, Later lessons and teachers talking loud.

Moderator:

And so, is it different here? Would you say it's different?

Respondent:

Yeah.

Moderator:

How's it different?

Respondent:

Because Some teachers are nice to me. Some of them are not same.

Moderator:

Okay. And what do you think makes a good teacher again? What can pretend? What
sort of things do you like about, say your favourite teachers or their lessons?

Respondent:

Yeah [INAUDIBLE VOICE]. Yeah, she's nice. She helps me when I get started.

Moderator:

So, she helps you when you get stuck.

Respondent:

Yeah.

Moderator: [10:00]

And do you get any other sort of supporting classes would you say

Respondent:

I get help with sometimes. Because we go around the class and teaches our students. They
need help.

Moderator:

Nice. And so he goes around the whole class, not just you.

Respondent:

I mean, he does go to me, and then then you finish with me. Then he goes to another
student and then he will tell another student.

Moderator:

Yeah, that makes sense. And do you find that helpful?

Respondent:

Yeah.

Moderator:

How do you find that helpful?

Respondent:

Because there's going to match on to everyone to apply for, for a job or ones who are Pass
or Fail in exams.
Moderator:

Okay, sounds good. You mentioned like a getting a job as well. Or like, it'll help you
get a job. Do you know what you want to do?

Respondent:

I'm not sure what job I’m gonna do.

Moderator:

Yeah, you don't need to if you didn't have a clue.

Respondent:

Football, yeah.

Moderator:

Do you support team?

Respondent:

Yeah, I have a T shirt on it right now. And it's awesome.

Moderator:

I was going to say it is awesome, I can see it peeking out. It was fun. So, there you
go. Oh, that sounds good, in terms of like school helping you so obviously like you're
in Sixth Form College now. Did they like help you with things that you might want to
do in future like jobs and that sort of stuff?

Respondent:
I'm not even sure.

Moderator:

Do you think that could be a way that they could help you a bit more or is there
anything you think you could do?

Respondent:

I could miss if they put me up. You are and this will look up jobs and the jobs will come up,
but it'll be difficult because of Coronavirus.

Moderator:

Yeah. And you mentioned Coronavirus. We haven't been in any lockdown since
September. Have we? So, you won't have experienced a lockdown at this school? Is
that right?

Respondent:

Yeah.

Moderator: I've lost track. To be honest. There's been so many of them there.

Respondent:

I think September, October of this year. There Was zoom learning going.

Moderator:

Yeah, yeah. So did you do any lessons from here on Zoom?

Respondent:

No, I mean, I'm, I didn't do any lessons on zoom here.

Moderator:

Okay. And can you remember your old school if you did?

Respondent:

Yeah. It was on home, and I was on my computer because we got out it, because there was
Coronavirus you had to stay on. And I went into all my lessons and one of my teacher's
upset me because he thought I was playing fortnight in the lessons, and I wasn’t, I was in the
lesson sitting down Like from a computer. And I wasnt playing fortnight.

Moderator:

Yeah. Okay. And did you did you talk to them about that?

Respondent:

Yeah, I spoke to my mom and my mom found a teacher [12:31 INAUDIBLE VOICE]

Moderator:

Did they do anything about it? Can you remember?

Respondent:

I'm not sure

Moderator:

That's okay. Not a problem. And how did you find locked down in general? Working
from home?

Respondent:

I mean, I don't like staying on. I mean I sometimes I do in my bed, but I wish, want to go out
and see my friends and come here to work

Moderator:
Yeah, sounds good. And what was it like coming back to school like after the first
lockdown or the second lockdown? Can you remember?

Respondent:

it was weird

Moderator:

what was weird about it?

Respondent:

So, get to see Hartford combat, then we get tested and then go home. Come back after that
and then get tested again. Then it was school and then then after that I finished school.

Moderator:

can you remember when you finished school at your own school? Did you do
anything like with your friends there? Did you have friends at your old school?

Respondent:

Yeah.

Moderator:

What kind of things did you do?

Respondent:

No, I talk to them, pay on Yeah.

Moderator:

Nice. And when you move to this school, did you know anyone when you first moved
here?
Respondent:

I mean, [NAME], he's calm with me, but some may will know and he's, I don't like him,
because he's always horrible.

Moderator: [15:00]

And this might be a bit difficult. So, you don't have to answer it again, if you don't
want to. But if you find that other students here are maybe being vulnerable, or I think
you've said before, like they got into fights and stuff, but your old school, what
happens, then? What happens to them? Do they, you know, did they get any sort of
punishment do you know,

Respondent:

They get told off by a teacher, by they keep doing like three or two more times they will get
kicked out of school. If you solve one. And the teacher sees you fire, you got kicked out of
school

Moderator:

And what do you think? Is that do you think it works?

Respondent:

Yeah,

Moderator:

And do you think there's any way that it could sort of be better? Like if you know,
other students who have been unkind Is there anything that you think could be
better?

Respondent:

They could just do to find a novel, that they could just find another college or find a novel, or
discover home and just say,
Moderator:

Okay, I don't think he had a bit of a rough time that you were with [NAME]

Respondent:

[NAME] was a bit of a rough time

Moderator:

And then is there anything you think we could have done that would have made your
life a bit easier?

Respondent:

We just tell them to, just to stop being rude, to me, and, and then abide all the laws and then
I'd be shots keeps going on and on, then he gets in more trouble. And then.

Moderator:

Okay, that makes sense. And did you speak to anyone about it at the time when they
were being mean to you?

Respondent:

I told this to my [NAME] all and then I told her, Let's sit down, because he was making fun of
my name, I have an order that I'm being rude to them.

Moderator:

And did that help?

Respondent:

Yeah, he stopped by sometime. It carries on and then I'll have to tell him, she did every day
to turn him, but He's still covered.
Moderator:

Okay, that makes sense. And is there anything else that you would like to happen in
that situation? Anything? I think you've already said, you know, you could tell them to
go home, you can tell them off. But is there anything else you think

Respondent:

it will be easier for the nice people to stay in college for the bad people to go out of college
and find another college or to stay home, or just find a job

Moderator:

That makes lots of sense. Thank you for that. And I think now, you've absolutely
smashed through a lot of these questions. I've mean that to look at this, really. So let
me just see where we're at and see if there's anything that I've missed so far. Oh,
yeah. So, we haven't spoken about break times. And lunchtime. So, have you just had
lunchtime? Is that right?

Respondent:

Yeah.

Moderator:

And what sort of things do you usually do at lunchtime?

Respondent:

I just hang around, we have a group of friends, we sit

Moderator:

And is there anything in particular that you do? Like, is there any clubs and stuff or?

Respondent:

I mean, we just be in. I mean, we just hang around in a group and just talk
Moderator:

That sounds good. At break times, as well, like, how long do you get for your break
times and lunch times?

Respondent:

Break time finishes at eleven. And then lunchtime, it finishes at one

Moderator:

Okay, and you know, when they start?

Respondent:

11 Am

Moderator:

Okay. And for your break time to lunch time, so like, do you think there's any way that
it could be made better? Do you like the length of them? That kind of thing?

Respondent:

It's nice to be with my friends. Just talk to teachers and say there was a problem or if there
was homework or disaster. That's what I that's what I do.

Moderator:

Sounds good. And you've mentioned homework as well. Where do you get much
homework?

Respondent:

I mean, I've only got a couple.

Moderator:
And do you usually do that at school?

Respondent:

I go home and come to school I mean come in and then hand over it in

Moderator:

And how long do you spend on your homework? Do you know?

Respondent:

I mean, how long it is, it's only 10 questions. I just finish it but it's not a power graph for
power work, but I can't do it. I have to get my sister to help me because she knows how to
do power work.

Moderator:

Yeah, sounds good. And is there anything that again you think could be different
about homework?

Respondent: [20:00]

just make it a lot easier and an hour work does not make it difficult for some, but for some
people it is difficult because some people are not smart. Some people maybe might be on
like free time and to not pay attention, like it should be different for different people

Moderator:

So, you think it could be like, different for different people? Is that right?

Respondent:

Yeah
Moderator:

And then in terms of what you do outside of school [NAME], do you have any hobbies
and interests? I think you mentioned fortnight and ART snow. Is there anything else
that you do?

Respondent:

I sometimes got to the park; I'll go for a walk. And think it was Monday, I went out on a
normal day Looking at the supercars site Lambos on all London in London.

Moderator:

And do you get chance to do things related to your hobbies in school?

Respondent:

Respondent:

Moderator:

would that be something that you'd like to do.

Respondent:

Yeah, yeah.

Moderator:

What how do you think they could, they could sort of incorporate that?

Respondent:

They won't be you know, we people like rich people lie. I know that when you have a board
edge typology on the floor. And I just start over some people don't like white people. And
some people like, like night sleep or not rock people.
Moderator:

And what do you mean by rich people?

Respondent:

Like, if they bought you on the floor push you on or that issue kit key or something like that,
some people don't like it. But some people do like it. Some people might like it. Some people
don't.

Moderator:

Yeah, that makes sense. Definitely. And you said that you do sports on a sport day?

Respondent:

I do martial arts and then I go to the gym after a tour.

Moderator:

And do you have like a favourite sport in particular?

Respondent:

Football

Moderator:

Yeah. Okay. Sounds good. I'm just thinking back to your old school now again,
[NAME], did you do those sorts of sports that you old school as well?

Respondent:

Yeah. Football like playing football. And then after that will be it will be going to TVs and
football. In the archer. It's like, your separate shoe is like there's only two groups that you're
to pick, pick a name, like pick a person. And then and then you play. And then after that, it's
great time.
Moderator:

Okay. Yeah, that sounds good. And in terms of, again, still thinking about your old
school here. Did you get to choose like what subjects you studied and that kind of
thing? at you're old school?

Respondent:

Im not sure

Moderator:

Again, it doesn't matter, that's the right not a problem. And then in general, I'd like to
ask you how to you know, like, sometimes you have that parents’ evenings and that
kind of stuff. And they tell you how they think you're doing school. How do you think
you're doing it? This school?

Respondent:

Im doing different roles in school.

Moderator:

And why is that?

Respondent:

Because I focus on my work. I don't get distracted. And I just saved my energy to go outside
and then come back in. Then I get more energy to work. Because some people might fall
asleep on the table. I don't do that. Sometimes I do it at my old school.

Moderator:

And why is it different here? Why do you think you don't get as distracted, or you
don't receive as much air?
Respondent:

Because it's a nice teaching. It's like because It’s not horrible like In my old school did with
me and tell you wake up and focus in and here it got nice teachers

Moderator:

Yeah. So, you think is that something that's quite important for you?

Respondent:

Yeah.

Moderator: [25:00]

Great. So again, we'll get through these really quickly. Still All right. Yeah. I'm not
bored you to death. Yeah, you're right. Do you want to drink, Again, I suppose it didn't
show as well. Do you bring in your own food?

Respondent:

Yeah, I bring my own food for lunch

Moderator:

Okay, nice. And do you have like cards and stuff here that you can pay for stuff with if
you want it.

Respondent:

Yes, I just got one

Moderator:

Nice. And does that let you into the building?

Respondent:

Rather than gate, and then as you go through the top it gives you all right, that gives you

Moderator:
nice. Sounds good. How'd you get to school?

Respondent:

I get a transport

Moderator:

Okay, and how's that for you? How'd you find that?

Respondent:

I mean, I'm always late to college all the time wise.

Moderator:

Really? And is that because of the transport?

Respondent:

Because some reason my boss goes down, it's because I'm always open. And it's so
annoying. I don't get education. I just missed half of it. So, coming to college late

Moderator:

And who organizes that transport? Do you know?

Respondent:

I'm not sure. Collage

Moderator:

Okay, nice. And do you know like, why they're late and that kind of stuff for?

Respondent:
Because we have to get our students on the bus like they live far away. Some of them live in
plumps the corner in Abbey Road

Moderator:

Nice. And so, if you were put in charge of like organizing the transport here, what
would you do?

Respondent:

I will say they'll be on time. Yeah, they will be coming on time for lessons, I have coming in
on time.

Moderator:

Okay. Sounds good. So again, I think we're getting there. Oh, yeah. So, I wanted to
ask you Has anything changed in this school? Since you've been here? Do you
know? So, I don't know if you have like a, like a school counsellor or like, students
that can make decisions about what happens in the school? Do you know if you have
anything like that here?

Respondent:

I have a teacher

Moderator:

Okay. And do you know if they've made any changes?

Respondent:

[Inaudible audio 27:30 to 27:33]

Moderator:
What do you think about that?

Respondent:

I mean, it's, it's a good, thing, because some people have some people waiting outside to
vape in college, not allowed to walk around in a cool way to get to your lesson and get
education in COVID, to an outside where you can

Moderator:

Yeah, that definitely make sense. And then in terms of as well, like so you said you
mentioned a few rules there. Are there any of the rules that they have here that you
either like or don't like?

Respondent:

I mean, I don't like the wearing hat rules. I don't like the hat rules.

Moderator:

Why is that?

Respondent:

Because sometimes my hair gets messy.

Moderator:

Okay. And do you think that again, if you were putting in charge of the rules,

Respondent:

I would say you can wear hats and cross and you can wear hats anywhere in college.

Moderator:
And so now we're just going to turn to thinking a little bit about and I've said this a
couple of times throughout already. But if you were to be put in charge of building a
school, and it was your ideal school, so thinking about your old school as well, where
you said it wasn't so good. And the teachers weren't so nice. And the school had to
be inclusive of everyone. What sort of things would you do and what kind of things
would you put in it? Do you think?

Respondent:

I'll put a basketball go in and a football pool. I'll put my slushy here or on how he stopped
here like bananas apples on here. We'd love it to be more healthy food options for our kids,
some people want I wouldn't be okay. Some people want to join them so that's what I'm
doing right now. We're trying to lose weight because I was fat when [NAME] was in my
second

Moderator:

so, you'd put further to be more options. Yeah, yeah, that sounds good. And how
about like the classrooms and stuff is there anything that you change about
classrooms

Respondent:

Like I will change seating or seeing them because it will pull in the pie, and I'd be I'd be
cross. I will change the chairs and change the tables half of them are broken

Moderator: [30:00]

Okay. Sounds good. And the teachers as well, you've mentioned that you like nice
teachers that are kind, so is there anything else you mentioned that you'd like
teachers being nice and not annoying? Is there anything else that you would like the
teachers to do to be like?

Respondent:
Just nicely tell pupil around college might go to lesson. And nicely, tells those students to do
the work, not in a horrible way and don’t argue with students

Moderator:

Yeah. It's good. And anything you would change about like the outside space, other
than I think you've said basketball court and football court, is there anything else that
you change?

Respondent:

Change the car spaces if I could, this isn't because car spaces out there.

Moderator:

What would you change about those?

Respondent:

I want to make more car space

Moderator:

And why is that?

Respondent:

Because some do it because teachers has one spot, and there is college spot.

Moderator:

Yeah. Okay, that makes sense. That's what I consider. A lot of people would say that
they don't want to say yes, very nice. And then just another couple of questions here
on that. So, what do you think would help? And you've mentioned that you've had a
couple of bad experiences in the past, what do you think would help all students feel
comfortable at school? Or feel like they belong at school?
Respondent:

like doing no work, education's and not one out across ones, like bunking lessons, like on
the side.

Moderator:

Make sense. Which makes people want to come to school in general want to come
here? What makes them happy?

Respondent:

Like if there was an amazing medicine to come to the college like, if there was something
new in college, like If there was a teacher that will come with billion money, because people
like lot of money

Moderator:

And they might give out some?

Respondent:

because some girls are always with boys for this form or money, and yeah, it goes for
money. I mean,

Moderator:

that makes a lot of sense. And just thinking again, a little bit more about that. So,
you've thought about your ideal school? And what that will look like, is there anything
else that before we move on that you would change about either this school or your
law school to make it better? That you haven't already mentioned?

Respondent:

I'm not even sure.

Moderator:

Okay And again, if you think of something in a couple of minutes, pops into your
head, let me know. But yeah, I think like that, and that, to be honest, I think we've
covered pretty much everything. Oh, one thing I was going to ask is, do you know, do
you have meetings with the school and your mom about like, your education plan? Do
you know if you have meetings like that with the college?

Respondent:

Like that's in view, they. Guys, I like a few days later to check, like you come in your bones,
and then it can check your marks and then they can see where you are

Moderator:

Yeah. And how do you find those?

Respondent:

I mean, happy because I want to. Yeah, I don't want it to be my self failure in life. I don't want
to be failure.

Moderator:

Yeah. Sounds good. And if you again, you've said that you think you did quite well
here but if you did see yourself failing or you thought you weren't doing so well, what
would you do about it?

Respondent:

I will do some, just focus hopefully and then get all the way to the top and learn more and
don't be stuck at home and missing all the lessons.

Moderator:
Do you think like you could talk to teachers about stuff and do you think they would
help or support you?

Respondent: [35:02]

Like I put my hand off, or just tell the first line to come over and help you.

Moderator:

It's good. And is there any other support that you would like to have at school that
you don't think you have at the minute or again about your secondary school? Is
there any sort of support that you could have had there that you'd have liked?

Respondent:

I'm not sure.

Moderator:

That's okay. No problem. Seems like you've got quite a good light system around you
here as well, for sure. He was talking about you while you're out the room, but nothing
bad. Just that you help everybody in the class, nothing bad. There you go. Once that's
off, you can turn freely. So, I think we've pretty much covered everything what I
wanted to now ask you, is there anything that you'd like to ask me, either about this
research or anything else?

Respondent:

No,

Moderator:

That's absolutely fine. And is there anything else if I was to ask you for like one thing
that we could take away? Obviously, we're going to listen to everything that you said,
and everything that a lot of other young people are saying as well. But if we could
take away one thing, to make school better for everyone, what would you say it would
be?
Respondent:

I'm not sure now.

Moderator:

Is there anything that we've already said?

Respondent:

Just going to make school better to me Or is it not to do one o'clock, don’t want to be getting
told off by teachers

Moderator:

What do you think teachers could do? Instead of telling you off,

Respondent:

They'll just tell you to calmly, say, take your hat off, or, or take your coat off or don’t be
louder, or just tell you to not fire like fire someone

Moderator:

Sounds good. Good. Right. So that is everything. Unless there's anything else that if
you want to ask for the time being.

Respondent:

I'm curious, what happens at around a lot of young people

Moderator:

Yeah, So between the ages of 11 and 16. So you're probably our oldest participant.
But yeah, so between the ages of 11 and 16. If you heard of the senator, have you?

Respondent:
Yeah.

Moderator:

Yeah. So basically, we're, as ons like a sort of like the independent government
department, we're submitting a response to the current Senator review. And it's going
to consider like actually speaking to children and young people, because that's
something that they haven't necessarily done. But yeah, so that's, that's the plan
anyway. And we've got the sort of charities and organizations on on a steering group
for the research. So, they're interested as well, and finding out like, what kind of
things young people have been saying. And we've been all over England. So we've
been up to Newcastle. We've been down south. Been up in Birmingham quite a bit. So
yeah, I've been all over the place.

Respondent:

So yeah, you want to make an impact in young people.

Moderator:

Yeah exactly, That's the aim anyway. So yeah. And that's one of the things I was
going to ask you is, would you be interested in finding out about, you know, I
mentioned earlier, like writing a report and that kind of thing? Would you be
interested in having a look at that?

Respondent:

Yeah

Moderator:

And as well as writing a report, we want to make sure that we make things interesting,
so that people actually want to listen to them or hear about them? What kinds of
things do you think we could do to get this information out to people, whether it's
young people or older people?

Respondent:
if they just read it properly and this agree on the statement that you, give to people to if they
want to agree or disagree if they will do good or bad.

Moderator:

Sounds good. So, we will be right in like you said, and then people will be reading it.
Do you think there are any other ways that we could sort of present the information?
Or what's the best ways that you learn? Is it through reading or is it something else?

Respondent:

Something else,

Moderator:

what would you say?

Respondent:

Like give it on Sunday at home Or to set your mom read it and that she can tell you a bit
more about it.

Moderator:

Nice. Sounds good. And like, again, is there anything that we should like to avoid
doing anything that you would find really boring

Respondent: [40:01]

like too many lessons, I like to avoid, and I avoid garden and sports

Moderator:

Okay, nice. That sounds good. And then the last thing I promise this is the last thing
now and then we switched that thing off is in the report, as we said, we aren't going to
use your name. So no, no, no, it's you. We won't use the name of the college. But
have you got like a secret name or a fake name that you'd like us to use for you? Like
a code name almost.

Respondent:

So then if they like show, and you'll be able to see what he is that right?

Moderator:

Yeah, you would know what the name is, but no one else will know.

Respondent:

Who's your favourite Arsenal player ,Oh, that's a good one. Who's your favourite arsenal
Player Soccer The coyote, I want to be him.

Moderator:

Brilliant. So, if you read the report, only you and NSA, Dan will know that but he's not
going to tell anyone else, so they won't know with you other than what you said. The
final thing for me to say is thank you so much. For today. It's been really, really
helpful to talk to you. And the last thing is that we will be sending a voucher for you
just to say thank you for taking part today. And we're going to send that to your
mom's email address. So, she should already have had one for when she had a
conversation with me. But yeah, just tell her to keep an eye on her emails. And that's
that, is that right?

Respondent:

Yeah.
