JOINT AFFIDAVIT OF ARRESTING OFFICER

We the UNDERSIGNED Police Officers, both members of the Philippine

National Police, presently assigned at the Police Station of Sta Cruz, Sta Rosa,
Laguna, do hereby depose and state THAT:

1. We are among the members of Sta Rosa Municipal Police Station who conducted
the hot pursuit operation located at Brgy. Sta Cruz, Sta Rosa, Laguna

2. The said operation was stemmed from a call from ANTONIO DIMAGULANGAN
for violation of the Art. 310 of the RPC which was referred to our office by the
Barangay Captain of Brgy. Sta Cruz against Mr. BOYET DURUGAS, legal age,
Single, Filipino citizen residing at Brgy. Sta Cruz, Sta Rosa, Laguna.

3. On the call dated March 01,2018 for an alleged theft case.

4. Upon receiving the call, we immediately send police officers to investigate the case
and after a successful investigation conducted, the suspect of the crime was
immediately identified and immediate hot pursuit operation was planned. At about
1:00 PM of March 01, 2018, together with the undersigned officers and witness
proceed to the location where the suspect possibly stayed.

5. Upon arriving thereat, luckily the suspect was present at the location on that time
and has been positively identified by the witness. The undersigned officers together
with the other police officers immediately arrested the suspect. Informing his
rights ,while commencing the arrest.

6. Suspect was brought to the Sta Rosa Municipal Police Station at Brgy. Sta Cruz,
Sta Rosa, Laguna for booking and proper disposition. The arrested person was
apprised of his rights as provided in the Constitution of the Philippines.

7. We executed this joint affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the forgoing facts and to
support the filling of the Criminal Case against Mr. BOYET DURUGAS for violation
of Article 310 of the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines (Qualified Theft).
