1. A report contains information regarding a leader's leadership style. The report is based on
Lt General 'Tiger' Hasbullah's pattern of leadership behaviour as described in Tenera's
book by Subhas Chandran (2015), through "Special Ops of The Counter Terrorism Ops."
Leadership is an interesting topic because it affects the life of the leader of an
organisation regardless of culture, whether in the army or in the community. This report
focuses on military leadership because Lt General Hasbullah uses his power, dynamism,
and success in operations. Leadership is also important to us because we can choose
anyone to be a leader, but we can't choose not to have a leader.

2. Lt General Hasbullah's leadership is brave and trusted by his group. According to 'Subhas
Chandran (2015)'s Army book, he was picked as the leader to discover and execute
communist terrorists in Malaysia at the time. As the chief of national security operations,
his task was difficult, yet Lt General Hasbullah dared to take on the following
responsibilities to keep the country secure. As leaders, we must have the guts to be
respected by our subordinates, and they will replicate that attribute in carrying out our
everyday responsibilities.

3. In addition, Lt General Hasbullah has a determined approach toward problem solving

and effectively completing any given assignment without fail. This is because he will no
longer allow failure to do his obligations, which threatens his sovereignty and national
security. When a result, everyone of his day leaders is determined to completing the
mission assigned so that undesirable events do not occur as communism colonises
Malaysia.

4. Following that, Lt General Hasbullah is prepared to face all risks to protect the country's
borders, which include Perlis, Kedah, and Perak, as well as Kelantan and Terengganu.
This is due to the fact that when there is an emergency in the region, it becomes a 'Black
area' and is dangerous. The dangerous location is a battleground where communists
strike. As a result, we might learn that we must be courageous enough to take a risk in
order to achieve the achievement we desire.

5. Lt. Gen. Abdullah is a capable and effective leader in obtaining the required power to win
the conflict. He is prepared to embark on a difficult task, fighting against Ong Bo Kit
near the Malaysia-Thailand border. He is able to achieve the best relationship between
both sides thanks to his communication abilities with the locals and his people. Lt. Gen.
Abdullah thought that he should distribute responsibility to his soldiers, but he is also
accountable to them. His beliefs were submitted to his subordinates in order for them to
be empowered and their talent to be increased. A leader should develop additional leaders
who can lead others to their peak performance.

6. He is a general of soldiers who moved on to inquire about the resources required, such as
logistics and battle support. The image depicts the 'Tiger' gaining control of the field as
his personnel. Instead of controlling from behind the desk, he relocated his command
centre closer to the action. He pays a visit to his subordinate's re-training session to assess
their preparation to confront war reality. He also forms various teams to obtain an
advantage over the opponent.

7. Intelligence is one of the most critical factors in any circumstance, especially in a life-or-
death crisis. As a result, the aspect was weighed so that they might investigate and learn
whatever they could about the opponent. He establishes a trusting connection with the
locals since he has the ability to persuade and deal with them. He learns about the Ong
Bo Kit from them in order to defend them from terrorist attacks.

8. The general is also an example to his subordinates and officers. He constructs a scene and
gives them a spirit to fight with their hearts in the conflict. In a high-pressure scenario,
every individual's morale is critical and vitally significant for the proportion of successful
efforts and the ability to decrease casualties.
