 SPECIAL PURCHASE CONDITIONS (SPC)
((The conditions in this section are to be read in conjunction with the General Purchase Conditions &
Instruction to Bidders. In case of any contradictions, the conditions mentioned herein shall supersede
any other related conditions anywhere else in this tender document))

Special Purchase Conditions – Volume II Section I Part - A

1.0 TYPE OF BIDDING Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding Basis

The Price Quoted shall be firm till the completion of

delivery and preferably on F.O.R. Destination Site basis

Detailed price break up should be uploaded in Finance
Cover as per the conditions of the Price Bid - BOQ excel
sheet.

Bidder has to quote the unit basic price inclusive of

P&F, Freight, Insurance Charges and any other charges
in BOQ Excel Sheet. No separate payment shall be
entertained towards P&F, Freight and Insurance
Charges or any other charges.

In case bidder has indicated (Zero) or left blank in GST,

the same shall be treated as included in the Bid Price.

The evaluation shall be done on FOR site i.e. landed

cost basis with cost compensation for deviations if any.
The loading will be done as per the procedure
mentioned at Clause No 10 of SPC.

4.0 PLACE OF ARBITRATION Delhi, INDIA

5.0 DELIVERY
Within 06 Months from the date of PO.

6.0 PAYMENT TERMS 100% payment within 30 days after receipt and
acceptance of the material at NTPC Site. Inspection will

material along with all required documents as
mentioned below.
a. Original GST invoice
b. L.R./G.R copy
c. Fitment/interchangeability certificate
Note:
Payment Procedure shall be as per Annexure I to SPC.

7.0 CONTRACT Not Applicable

GUARANTEE (CPG )

8.0 WARRANTY / 12 Months from the date of first use or 18 Months from
GUARANTEE the date of supply whichever is earlier.

The Guarantee/ Warranty Terms and Conditions shall
be applicable to the material supplied against the PO.
&
No separate Guarantee/ Warranty Certificate is
Fitment and required to be submitted by the Supplier along with the
Interchangeability material. The Guarantee/ Warranty terms and
condition shall be binding on the supplier.
&
Items supplied against the order shall confirm to
fitment with existing unit and should be one to one
interchangeable with existing spares.

9.0 INSPECTION Material will be inspected at NTPC Stores.

11.0 LIQUIDATED DAMAGES As per Clause no. 35.0 of GPC.

FOR DELAY IN EXECUTION
Applicable GST extra shall be levied on deducted LD
