FOR ELDERS
1. Updating JW Box: To ensure that new files, including meeting recordings, are available
for download, updates will now be available every Wednesday of the week. Although con-
gregations are required to update their boxes at least once a month, weekly updates will
ensure that new files are available to the publishers. Please keep in mind that in comparison
with other regular updates, it would consume more data when updating the box after several
new files are added, or if the box has not been updated for a long time. As a reminder, JW
Box can be updated directly from the internet or from another updated JW Box. Kindly con-
tact the JW Field Trainer responsible for the JW Box if you need further assistance.

2. Available Languages: Starting from the week of December 13, 2021, publications in
each JW Box will only be in the languages of the congregations using the Kingdom Hall or
meeting place to which the box is assigned. For example, a JW Box assigned to a Kingdom
Hall with two congregations (Pidgin and Efik) would automatically have only publications in
Pidgin and Efik in their JW Box. If the bodies of elders decide that more languages are
needed, please inform the JW Field Trainer responsible for the JW Box. They have been
trained on how to communicate collection adjustment requests to the branch office.

3. JW Box Assignment for Meeting Places: If your meeting place has not yet been as-
signed a JW Box and the bodies of elders using the meeting place agree to have one, please
send a jwpub message to Computer Help Desk.

4. Questions about JW Box: As a reminder, kindly direct all questions or issues on JW

Box to your assigned JW Field trainer. If you do not know who he is, please ask your circuit
overseer for his contact details.

1. Announcements for Congregations: Please ensure that the announcement for congre-
gations is read at the next midweek meeting, only if a JW Box is assigned to your Kingdom
Hall or meeting place.
