Chronology of break the PERTAMINA cable

June 11th,2020
15.00 PDP team prepare trench to reduce the vibration
that cause of piling SPSP.
For the location of the trench has been approved
by JO construction with the 50 – 80 centimeter
depth.

June 15th,2020
16.00 As the VMT result for the vibration test at the
CWI building. JO construction team ask PDP to
make additional depth of the trench (1-meter)
and maintain the trench.

June 24th,2020
06.45 Toolbox meeting
As follow JO construction comment, PDP
construction team ask excavator operator CAT
305E2 to maintain the depth of the trench as JO
construction comment.

07.30 – 09.30 Excavator CAT 305E2 conduct the trenching

works with 1-meter depth.

09.30 Excavator CAT 305E2 finish trenching works.

Moving to the SWI Pipeline onshore area.

10.20 PERTAMINA team inform that their cooling

system cannot works. They assume their cable is
break.
They ask PDP team to dewatering the trench
area. They want to check the cable condition.
10.30 - 14.13 PDP team conduct to dewatering and manual
digging in the trench area for the PERTAMINA
check.

16.30 PERTAMINA check and make sure the cable has

been broken.
Furthermore, they ask PDP team to jointing and
splicing the cable.

17.00 PDP team conduct to manual digging to clean the

area from the mud and prepare for splicing
cable.
