I. Project Title

This project shall be entitled “Make Extraordinary Work: Less Stressful, More Engaging”.

II. Project Rationale

The project aims to help employees in becoming more productive and engage, as well as
help them managing their emotions while working under pressure, in order for them to
achieve their maximum potential at work.

III. Project Objectives

 Learn about some tips to handle stress appropriately.


 Help employees increased their productivity and responsibility.
 Reduced negative organizational stress.
 Better team communications and build employee engagement.
 Retention of valued employees.
 Improved customer’s satisfaction.

IV. Course Content Methodology

The participants of this training workshop will be pre-selected randomly by the department
heads. The final lists of the participants will be communicated by the department head for at
least two weeks before the program. All the selected participants will be divided into two (2)
batches and will have a morning schedule and afternoon schedule for the day of workshop.

Before the training workshop starts, the department would disseminate a registration form
to all the participants. The participants will give one hour to fill-up the registration form and
register. There would be 25 participants per batch. The topic for the program will be divided
into two (2) parts: “How to cope with stress at work” and “Less stressful, More Engaging”.
Each part will be given one hour running time and will be facilitated by our guest speakers.

The first topic “How to cope with stress at work” were given the participants the opportunity
to figure out their stressors and were given the chance to come up with possible ways to
cope with stress both in the workplace and in their lives in general. This topic help
employees to learn handle stress properly. The speaker will ask the participants to create a
list of stressors and asked them to present in front.

The second topic “Less stressful, More Engaging” were led by the speaker to deliberate
about how the stress affects the employees productivity and how it is causing them to lose
focus in their respective work. Since employees are not focused, they can’t be productive at

all. Thus, by this topic speaker will discuss how to cope in such situations to improve the
quality of their work and how to stay motivated as well as making them more engage.

Those who participated in the Open Forum between talks are having a chance to receive a
raffle prizes.

VI. Training Staff / Resource Persons

The training program is spearheaded by the HR manager and the rest of the HR
department. There will be two (2) speakers for this training program that will inspire us
and share knowledgeable information about stress management.

The first guest speaker for this training is Mr. Gilbert T. Dasovich. He has worked in the
training and people development market as an emerging leader and corporate speaker
since 2009. He is a Management and Human Resource Consultant, Training Consultant,
Seminar Facilitator and Speaker as he conducts programs on values, leadership, emotional
intelligence, work life integration, team alignment, career development, job hunting as
well as sales and customer service.

The second one guest speaker is Ms. Aimee C. De La Cuesta. She is a first Filipino to

represent the Philippines in a Global Speakers Summit. He is the founder and CEO of DEFG, a
culture transformation firm that assists leaders and companies in seeing the broad picture in
their lives and at work. For the past 12 years, he has been an Asian motivational leadership
speaker, delivering an average of 114 inspiring talks every year. He is a radio and television
talk-show host, songwriter, publisher, and serial entrepreneur who have written 16 books.

VII. Participants

The participants of this workshop are limited to employees who have been pre-selected by
their department heads or managers. The participants will be made up of 50 employees
from various positions that are considered stressful. At least ten employees from each
department are allowed to come in and attend this training.

VIII. Venue

The seminar will take place at the Century City Mall Events Center, located on the 5th floor
of the Century Mall on Kalayaan Avenue in Makati City.
