Step 6. - Positions of the cam driving. Follow these steps:

- Remove the grip of the appropriate side by pressing the bottom part.
- Measure the landing door lock.
- Remove the screws which hold the operator to the car entrance and position the appropriate cam (front or
side version).
- Remove the punched plate located on the top of the grip hole.
- Set the support pulley inside the box, fixing it to the top-box.
- Place the cable tensioner in the motorization swivel joint and connect the whole system by means of a cable.
- Once the door operation has been correctly checked, the remaining cable must be cut and protect the end
of the same with adhesive tape.

Step 7 - Adjustment of motorization

- The dimension figure between micro contacts and the fixed plate should be approximately 3 mm.
- The reopening micro contact should rub against the movable plate so that the latter acts as soon as the trans-
mission trips.
- The contact plate with the closing limit switch has three positions which depend on the door clear opening:
- Position 1.- LC=850-900.
- Position 2.- LC=700-800.
- Position 3.- LC=550-650.
- The contact plate with opening micro contact is fixed at 5 mm from the end of the fixed plate.
- By pressing the central spring (code 3410.05.3002) the response of the motorization device increases.

Step 8 - Panel adjustment

This type of operator is supplied pre-adjusted for the size indicated in the order. Subsequent
adjustment can be done following the next instructions:
1. - By increasing the length of the transmision arms we achieve:
- Increasing the opening of the panels.
- Increasing the central gap of the panels when the door is closed.
2. - By decreasing the length of the transmission arms we obtain the opposite effect.
The position of the FCC and FCA limit switches should be appropriatey modified.

Step 9 - Panel cam adjustment

The cams must be centered in the sill groove.
The cams must be adjusted when the door is closed and with the lock driving assembled, so that
the panels hit against the plastic part inside upper and lower tread tracks before the edges of the
panels knock.

Step 10 - Adjustment of waiting time after a reopening / reclosing

- Commuting the microswitch no. 1, 1 and 3 in the way shown in the sketch, the waiting time after a reclo-
sing / reopening can be chosen.
Selection of the number of reopenings / reclosings
- Commuting the microswitches nos. 4 and 5 in the way shown in the sketch, the number of consecutive reo-
penings or reclosings before the safety stop of the geared DC motor.
Selection of the operation mode
- With the microswitch no. 6 in the OFF position, the standard operation mode is activated.
- Place the microswitch no. 6 in the ON position, to activate the TEST operation mode. (contacts 1 and 2 in OFF).

WARNINGS ON HOW TO KEEP THE DOORS IN GOOD OPERATING CONDITIONS

In order to prevent failures or incorrect operation and to maintain the system in good conditions, the
technical efficiency of the system should periodically be checked, to ensure compliance with the applica-
ble laws.
The technical efficiency depends on various factors such as:
- Work load
- Years of operation
- Door weight
- Climatic and environmental conditions
- Cleanness of environment
- Correct maintenance
- Etc.

And it can affect:

- Clearance/interference between the doors, and between the doors and posts according to the applica-
ble laws
- Clearance of coupling device
- Status/conditions of fixing and coupling elements
- Conditions of parts affected by wear
- Efficiency of the lock and relevant contacts
- Any other parts that may be affected by the type of application.

For these reasons it is not possible to establish a general part replacement programme beforehand.

All screws used for the assembly of our product are screwed by means of a tightening torque as shown
on following table :

Screw te Max torque (Nm) Min torque (Nm)

M3 1,1 0,9
M4 2,6 2,1
M5 5,1 4,1
M6 9 7
M8 21 17
M10 42 34
M12 71,4 57,1

In case of need please refer to above table.
