ACTIVITY EXERCISE ON LESSON 1:

Your Lesson guided you to think deeply of your dignity as MAN – created unto the image of God. As
your synthesis and application of this lesson, you are required to do the following:

1. Art out your insights, reflections and learning about the dignity of man. This could be done through
a composition of a poem, song of Praise or a prayer of thanksgiving to God for the dignity you
earned as a master piece creation of God.

2. Copy in your PAPER the whole of Chapter 1 of the Book of Genesis. Underline or highlight in
your paper each verse that speak about or pertains to you. In Chapter 2 & 3, write only the verse/s
that speak about you or that pertains to you.

ACTIVITY EXERCISE ON LESSON 2:

You are asked to answer the following guide questions after reading your Lesson.
1. How does environment affect the development of habits? Give at least three examples.
- This repetition of the same acts leads to the formation or acquisition of habit. Since a
human act is either good or bad, the habit that flows from the repetition of such act is
consequently good or bad.
- Environment can shape one’s habit indirectly through impressions made on the body and the
senses. However, each individual is responsible for his acts, for the root of habits which is the
will or the intellect.
- Environment can affect human conduct. Since a person is helpless in the face of the environment
and is completely passive and much vulnerable in formation of one’s character.

2. Make an assessment of your own habit formation. What are the habits that you think are good and the ones
you think are bad? How did you develop these habits?

act for the first time. It is something you do often or regularly without knowing that you are doing it many
times. While virtue, in ethics, it signifies a habit inclining man to think and to act correctly, to follow what is
right and to avoid what is evil. Virtue makes man do his work well. This implies that virtue is an operative
habit, which disposes him well toward the performance of morally good acts.

4. According to your capacity now as College Freshmen, what virtue you most need to develop? Why?
MY VIRTUES I NEEDED TO DEVELOP DISCUSS WHY YOU NEED THEM

1. Self- Discipline in life style 1. Lack of sleep. I wanted to start sleeping early
to avoid being exhausted from lack of sleep.
Eat more healthy foods. I usually ate out of
time and I also enjoy eating unhealthy foods
and softdrinks. I wanted to change my eating
habits to be healthier.
