EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Bread Corner is a small bread and pastry business that offers healthy and organic breads and
cupcakes with a unique twist. The owners of this business are Cielo Kharmela Q. Abanilla,
Marie Joy Jayag, Honey Roxas, Marjorie J. Vista. They aspire to transform the food industry into
a healthy and secure one by providing a sustainable and eco-friendly products and services and
serve not just the people of Tayabas City but especially the tourists and visitors a typical delicacy
made one of a kind by a locally-unique twist. Our priority is to make a significant contribution
on the satisfaction of the customers and to act for the welfare of the environment by avoiding
plastic-made products and replacing it with organic and natural products; and, by being a steward
of the environment that will benefit and leave positive imprint in the society.

Since the bakeshop is an eco-friendly one, we aim to really avoid the single-use plastics so we
opted to use biodegradable, natural and reusable products like paper bags, paper cups and bamboo
utensils including tongs, rolling pins and spatula. It also sells eco-friendly products like reusable bags
used in the bakeshop itself that can also be bought separately by the customers and offer services like
dine-in, take-out and for deliveries.
Our customer base will be the residents and tourists or visitors of Tayabas City because we
want them to experience and enjoy the local breads of Tayabas City with a unique twist, the people who
loves the environment or what we call as environmentalists since the feature of our business is an eco-
friendly bakeshop, the baby-boomers or those people who loves tradition and culture and the vegetarians
since some of our menus feature recipes and products that are good for the health that they will surely
love and the students since our bake shop also has an Instagram able feature that they will surely share to
the social media world.
First of all, we consider our target markets with their needs and wants that we will need to
satisfy. We specified our target markets to students, environmentalists, tourists, baby boomers, and bread
lovers.
In order to run this business with a good relationship to its customers, society, and business
itself, we plan to attain effective marketing activities such as going green, having cause, have a good
relationship towards everyone, have an online presence through having pages and advertisements, and
lastly is to give a great experience to our customers.
In order to get this business up and running, we require (5,000) five thousand pesos in funds, for
the purpose of achieving the overall plan for the business.

BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
Bread Corner is a general partnership between four people who came together to invest with their
resources in a common business with the purpose of sharing all of the business profits, assets and
financial and legal liabilities. It was established on year 2022. The nature of business of this bakeshop
falls under the bread and pastry industry as it offers its customers a variety of choices from the menu that
could be dined-in, take-out or even delivered and under the bread and pastry business industry since it
also offers eco-friendly products reusable bags used in the bakeshop itself that can also be bought
separately by the customers. We believe that we can be competitive because the concept of our business
which is to be eco-friendly paper bags and not using plastics, is unique and will be the first one in
Tayabas City . Our goal is to have an estimated (5,000-8,000) five thousand to eight thousand pesos for
our first annual sales, and to increase our sales yearly by 10% or higher from each previous year.

of. This business contributes in saving the world as it just does not only care for its customers but most
especially to the environment. Bread Corner gives a great experience to its customers as it gives them the
classic feeling of serving local breads with a twist with its affordable prices. Plus, a good ventilation of
the place can make the customers more feel relaxed. The business is located at Bypass Calabarzon Road
near the establishing and developing New Tayabas City where customers can have their break away from
the noisy, busy, and crowded places of the town. The business recognizes that the town is lacking of this
kind of business so the business aimed to introduce a fresh and different experience for the people. Here,
a great relaxation and quality time can be experienced by the customers in a unique way.

Bread Corner engages in recycling other used materials to minimize possible wastes. They take
actions of reducing single-use plastics and packaging that are seriously contributing to the world’s
pollution. They offer green options for their customers with little to no packaging at all. Bread Corner
goal is to become the best environmental and customer friendly bakeshop in the town of Tayabas City.
The company is determined to obey all rules and regulations guided by the bread and pastry
industry and environmental care. In this business, the interest of the customers will always come first and
everything the company does will be guided by the business values and ethics.

unique among our competitors because Bread Corner serves a healthy/organic breads, cupcakes, with a
twist and use biodegradable dining tools and products that will not harm the environment. We also have a
designated eating place for everyone. It is also perfect for Instagrammable pictures because of the
location, bakeshop concept and of course the breads.

Bread Corner gives high quality service, provide the needs of the customer and build healthy
relationships. This is the reason why our business is unique among our competitors. Our price may vary
depending on the products. Breads are affordable and it is worth it. Bread Corner assure you to give the
best quality and delicious breads.

MARKETING PLAN
Bread Corner is going to be up for business soon. Our bakeshop located at Bypass Calabarzon Road and
near the establishing and developing New Tayabas City. We have been able to secure a lease of a vacant
lot within the area. We are fortunate to secure a facility with an option of renewal for 25 years at an
agreed rate.
As a major part of this to effectively run this ecofriendly business, we plan on implementing a
six part marketing strategy. This will include green marketing, cause marketing, relationship marketing,
and internet marketing, experiential marketing and print advertisement. Our marketing objectives as
bakeshop is wrapped around our company’s mission statement as clearly stated in our business plan is to
serve not just the people of Tayabas City but especially the tourists and visitors a typical food made one
of a kind by a locally-unique twist.
Our priority is to make a significant contribution on the satisfaction of the customers and to act
for the welfare of the environment by avoiding plastic-made products and replacing it with organic and
natural products; and, by being a steward of the environment that will benefit and leave positive imprint
in the society. We also want to help our locals specially our farmers in showcasing their crops by
patronizing local breads here in Tayabas City.

For our marketing, we will budget 2 percent of our annual income towards advertising and promoting our
coffee shop. However, when the need arises we are likely to increase this budget. This particularly if we
need to explore a more costly but efficient marketing approach.

PRICING
The range of our products will be priced in line with what is already existing in the market.
Though, we are aware that we need to lower our pricing so that we can customers as we pursue
recognition as beginners. However, we must also consider the fact that we are serving all organic
products that has a lower cost of ingredients. We will also have an introductory pricing strategy for the
future new products on the menu for its first three months.
OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT
Bread Corner operating schedule is 9am to 9pm, Monday to Sunday and it is located at Bypass
Calabarzon road and near the establishing and developing New Tayabas City. Our bakeshop gives a cold
breeze that is a perfect place to dine and relax. Also, we assign a designated parking lot for our customers
so that it will be easy for them. There’s a lot of bakeshop here in Tayabas City along with Lucena City
but we are still comfortable with them because our bakeshop is unique. Bread Corner provide an eco –
friendly bakeshop, great location, fresh and delicious breads, friendly and highly skilled staffs that will
give full service to their job. Our bakeshop have a delicious and one of a kind breads. Bread Corner will
make sure that our best selling products are delicious and budget friendly that is good for our customers.
Our product price ranges to P5 to P15 depending on the customer order. We also have promos,
coupons, vouchers, freebies, and loyalty card for our beloved customers. Sales forecasts highlight
potential opportunities and problems, cost of sales and see the difference of sales in a month or maybe a
year. Bread Corners assures you that our sales forecasts is accurate because we update our sales forecasts
time to time and consult experts.
The bakeshop managers are the owners of Bread Corner, they are responsible of the sales and
employees. Employees may apply for full time or part time only. Bread Corner look for employees who is
committed to their job, build healthy relationships to customers and to his/her coworkers, must be honest,
highly skilled and willing to learn new things. Also, they must report to the bakeshop managers. In
training the employees, first, educate and instruct the employees on what they will do and they must know
the bakeshop very well, lastly, there is a training, demonstration on the proper handling of their work and
they are required to do it before facing the customers in order to sell the products and give full assistance
to the customers.

The Bread Corner has its closest competitors when it comes to location, tourism, and products. In
this competition the Bread Corner has its good place in the competition and can be able to survive and
compete well to the said competitors.
