1.- READ AND LISTEN THE TEACHER EXPLANATION ABOUT PAST SIMPLE: AFIRMATIVE FORM .
USE:
DID in Questions. To make a question in the Past Tense in English we normally put the auxiliary DID at the
beginning of the question or before the main subject. DID is used with regular AND irregular verbs in English.
Both Do and Does in present tense questions become Did in past tense questions
Short Answers with DID.
Remember that if the question starts with DID, you can give a short answer using DID. It is not necessary to

use the main verb in the answer.
In questions that use DID it is possible to give short answers as follows:

Did it have blue buttons? Yes, it did. No, it didn't.
Remember!
Use ‘did’ and the verb, but don’t change the verb to the past form!

When  did  you  see  the film?
Be careful!
We usually add time words at the end.
Did you play a game  yesterday?
What did you have for dinner  last night?
