CRAFTING OF SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

NARRATIVE REPORT
Each year we produce an SIP or otherwise known as the School Improvement Plan. The plan is a
strategic plan and the end result of an analysis of the School’s needs, strengths and weaknesses as
identified by our own monitoring, assessment and evaluation systems. Furthermore, the School
Improvement Plan contains the long term priorities and ambitions, which the school wishes to work
towards, and also short term actions which will ensure that the long term priorities are achieved.

As one of the rising schools of the entire division, the Malingao Central School planning team
toiled and made its School Improvement Plan. The making was made every weekend so as not to
intervene the contact hours of the pupils. The Planning team was composed of all Master Teachers headed
by Ma’am Amelita S.Bagol, the principal. Ma’am Bagol monitored additional support to see that the
planning team is driving up standards. The team brainstormed and made it sure that the top most to the
least priorities are included in the SIP. They made revisions and enhancements to some of its contents on
the SIP of the previous year.

To top it all, we believe that it is important for everyone who has an interest in the future of our
school to be aware of what we are striving to achieve, and of how we intend to do this. We are reliant
upon the interest, advice, work and support of all those who share with us the common goal – to make
MCES, a school like no other!
