Learning Log week 3-4

I used to think that after this lesson I will differentiate the normal and abnormal respiratory
findings, I can identify the common respiratory problems and their causes, I will learn about the
base on cues presented, and identify the nursing problem, to formulate objective in the
management of identified nursing problems, also I will determine nursing procedures to promote
respiratory functioning, relieve respiratory problems and I will explain their rationale. Also after
this lesson ii sued also to think that I will demonstrate skills in performing and in assisting in
common procedure utilized to promote respiratory functioning, and lastly, to state the outcome
criteria for evaluating client responses to nursing care.

Now I know that Treatments for respiratory failure may include oxygen therapy, medicines, and
procedures to help your lungs rest and heal. Chronic respiratory failure can often be treated at
home. If you have serious chronic respiratory failure, you may need treatment in a long-term
care center. Other way to keep our lungs good in functioning is to Stop smoking, and avoid
secondhand smoke or environmental irritants, eat foods rich in antioxidants, get vaccinations like
the flu vaccine and the pneumonia vaccine, exercise more frequently, which can help your lungs
function properly, improve indoor air quality.

However, I would like to apply this knowledge if I encounter this type of problem in my life but
not totally sure if I can do this properly, to manage and to help the client with respiratory
problem thru the nursing care plan I make.

I found the activity downloading my easy because to the good internet connection.

I found the activity passing my assignment difficult because of the poor internet connection.

I hope there would be a change in the way of learnings, because it is very hard to study with this
new normal.

Overall, I feel satisfied because even though it’s sometimes it is very confusing to do my
assignments for this week, I still finished it with joy.
