Learning Log week 10

I used to think that this topic which is cares of patient environmental and safety, makes my idea
about handling and giving care to the patient wider as to the future. I am also expecting that even
in this last topic for this quarter, is not the least but also become a foundation of my knowledge.

Now I know that Patient safety is the absence of preventable harm to a patient during the process
of health care and reduction of risk of unnecessary harm associated with health care to an
acceptable minimum. The patient environmental care and safety is all about the Patient safety it
could involves avoiding errors, limiting harm, and reducing the likeliness of mistakes through
planning that fosters communication, lowers infection rates, and reduces errors. This is giving
care to the patient in hospitals, keeping them away from noise, bad odors and other that can give
stress to the patient.
However, I am not sure if the video clip for this week that I create is totally correct, I have not
enough idea in making this kind of vlog. I am just making what the task tells about. But
hopefully that all activities for this week can help me to understand more the main topic, and that
is the giving cares of patient environment and safety.

I hope/plan to study more about this topic, for me to be knowledgeable and above all to be
having wisdom, the application of what I have learned.

I found the activity downloading my files, modules and assignment easy because to the good
internet connection. including the video uploading my last assignment video in google drive
because the good internet connection.

I found the activity doing video clip, and making brochure for patient chart difficult because as
what I have said, this is my first time to me to make this kind of vlog. I mean, my knowledge
isn’t totally enough for this. Also the brochure, not familiar to me, but no choice I have to make.

I hope there would be a change in the way of learnings, because it is very hard to study with this
new normal.

Overall, I feel satisfied because even though this is my first time doing new skills, new learnings
in my course, I am happy and making this enjoyable experience.
