2. After that I multiplied the height (cm to m) and density(kN/m3) to find the
mass(kN/m2) of each layer to add up to a G2 value.
3. Then I found the load value using this formula: FD = Ჾ1*G1 + Ჾ2 * G2+ ᲾQ
*Q
(G1 is equal to 3.65kN/m2 by default, other data are also given by default.)
4. The next step was that I opened the floor plans in AutoCAD and put the
supporting columns around the perimeter, and found the axes of the plan.
5. Having calculated the distance between the axes, I drew a graph of the frontal
axes in the F-Tool program, in order to then get the graph I needed.
7. Next, I inserted the value of uniform loads Fd that I found earlier. And the
program automatically calculated the BENDING MOMENT(Msd) of the
structure that I needed.
8. Using the two largest values (maximum and minimum), I found the area of the
top and bottom reinforcements using this formula: As = Msd / 0.9*d*fyd
(fyd = 391.3 MPa is the project voltage, d is the height to the armature)
9. Using a table on the Internet, I determined the number and diameter of the
steel top and bottom reinforcements. Since the section of the beam is T-shaped
and there is more space on top, I preferred a larger number with a small
diameter of the upper reinforcement area, and a set from the bottom.
10.The second part of the project was to test the SECURITY CHECK of my
design. The aim is to compare the bending moments obtained in the F-Tool
program and those obtained as a result of calculations made on the basis of the
reinforcement area (used values: y, C, T, d*, dc)
T – traction, y= altera stress block,
Part 2
The next stage of the work was to carry out a rooftop safety check.
First, I created new material layers in Excel, adding waterproofing and improved
thermal insulation for rooftop, and overridden the value of G2.
Next, I used all the same formulas and actions that I used earlier to check the level of
security of the interfloor overlap.
Part 3
SHEAR FORCE SAFETY CHECK
1. In the F-Tool program, instead of the bending moment, we find the graph of
the shear force.
2. We find VRd = [ (0.18k*(100*pl*fck)^(1/3))/xc + 0.15 * Ჾcp ] * b * d by this
formula
3. Next, we compare VRD, which we found, with the maximum value of VRD on
the graph in the program
4. This is the SHEAR FORCE SAFETY CHECK
Chapter 2.
It is completely identical to the first part of the previous chapter, except that the
values of the side of the plan on AutoCAD are now used. Therefore, it is necessary to
draw a new graph in the F-Tool program and do all the same calculations with new
parameters.
Capitolo 1
Parte 1
Ho trovato
altezza e densità per ogni materiale utilizzando i siti https://www.leca.it/ e
https://www.mapei.com/it/it/prodotti-e-soluzioni.
superiore e inferiore usando questa formula: As = Msd / 0.9*d*fyd
