CLEAN UP DRIVE NARRATIVE REPORT

Communities are built with helping hands of people working together for a greater cause. They
are built from single individuals, regardless of ages, who aim to have a better and happy community.
Building a community requires the ability to see the value in others, seeing them as a part of the big
puzzle, that each hand are great help and has its contributing role to fill in the said big puzzle.

It was (DATE) where parents and teachers gathered at the school grounds for the schools
preparation of the G2 Evaluation. Each stakeholder brought with them cleaning tools. Even if we are
facing a pandemic, it did not hinder the community to work as one just to make sure that the school is
ready and set for the said evaluation. All participating individuals practiced 1 meter social distancing
just to follow the guidelines and protocols set by the government.

The partakers started cleaning as they arrived in the school premises. Some pull the weeds,
others sweep the ground and fix the fences of the school. Most of the men helped in building MRF,
compost pits, napkin pits and in trimming tree branches that are nuisance. Some women roam around the
school grounds to pick the trashes that were stacked – like cellophanes, bottles, wires- that are not
pleasing to the eyes. Others helped in painting the plant boxes and school building, planting flowering
plants and in beautifying the school campus. It was a tiring day but all fervently and eagerly do their
share on the task. Each one of them happily worked, with no hints of boredom.

After all the schools’ areas became free from weeds and trash, and all necessary things to be built
are built, partakers now had their short rest before preparing their selves to go home. The activity ended
well and it was another great achievement that shows cooperation and enthusiasm of the stakeholders
together with the educators.
