SAFETY SUPERVISOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the Administration, Coordination and Implementation of HSE Program on all
industrial maintenance projects.
• Interface with craft, management and client representatives on HSE program compliance and
employee HSE requirements.
• Advise site management and serve as a resource for the technical interpretation of Health,
Safety and Environment Regulations in addition to company and client policies and procedure.
• Assess HSE performance and identify trends data analysis.
• Prepare HSE reports and safety evaluation.
• Communicate with management concerning the assessment of the HSE program performance
and provide proactive and/or corrective action recommendation.
• Coordinate contractor safety orientation for all subcontractors.
• Coordinate and/or conduct HSE trainings to ensure compliance with client, company and
regulatory requirement.
• Develop safe work practices as needed.

Job Description:
• To detect, identify, analyze, control and eliminate recognized hazardous acts, condition,
behavior and violation.
• To coordinate and monitor the implementation of the requirements of safety management plan
and arrange continuous and formal daily safety monitoring to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• To liaise with and support area Engineers/Supervisors to promote safety awareness in their
area of control.
• Participates in emergency response activities and investigate all industrial accidents / incidents
/ near misses involving personnel, plant & equipment and may affect surrounding environment. Review
progress and recommends corrective / preventive measures.
• Assist the construction site HSE leader in the application of company HSE POLICY & HSE
management system for site as well as workshop activities (Site preparation and construction) in
compliance with International & Local HSE rules and regulation.
• Perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to evaluate work-related hazard associated with
complicated projects.
• Carry out site inspection on regular basis to ensure the proper Implementation / adherence of
health, Safety and Environment standards as per company OSH and Environment-MS & HSE policy.
• Promotes proper use of PPE's and provides basic occupational safety information on hazard
recognition.

TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise technicians and maintenance workers especially related to their complete safety and
hazard tools precautions.
• Responding to all equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation to make
recommendations to maintenance crew.
• Monitoring all machineries thru request and services condition rendered.
• Checking all machineries concerning safety of the workers.
• Generates technical reports daily.
• Maintain safety and precaution for every emergency happen.
• Handles technical request (trouble shooting) etc.
• Performs additional tasks and responsibilities that will be assigned anytime.
• Update and scheduling of preventive maintenance programmer to minimize operation down
tune.
• Monthly reporting to the Project Manager.

MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR/SR. SAFETY OFFICER:

Duties and responsibilities of Mechanical Supervisor


• Check the machines and its accessories if it is within safety standard operating condition.
• Optimizes the boiler efficiency during production season and closely monitor machinery and
equipment during operation.
• Ensure the cost consciousness in operation and maintaining the machineries thereby,
implementing the proper usage of materials.
• Support the factory operation and coordinates closely with the superior.
• Endeavors to have a good predictive, preventive and routing maintenance work.
• Introduces idea and techniques to increase knowledge.
• Incubates corporate values, productivity program, disciplines and moral among partners.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping within the work area.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned from time to time and provides
to shift supervisors in the conduct and inspection of men, machinery and equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF SR. SAFETY OFFICER:

• Develop, implement and maintain an effective program and ensure compliance to satisfy the
requirement of local legislation and environment conservation act
• Develop system to ensure all employees comply with all relevant legal safety requirements
• Identify safety training needs, organize and coordinate safety training courses and prepare
training material where appropriate
• Co-ordinate safety meeting:
- Ensure meting time is set
- Agendas are sent out
- Minutes are kept and sent out
- Ensure that all support documentation in respect of the safety program is received on time and
in the correct format from all concerned parties
• Assist in appointment of safety representatives for all departments
• Communicate changes in safety and environment legislation to management
• Evaluate incident forms, surveys, audits to establish root causes and together with supervisor
and managers concerned, formulate a plan of action to correct non-compliant behavior or conditions
• Liaise with on-site contractors to ensure their compliance with company safety regulations and
adherence to safety standards, including basic safety induction training
• Conduct surveys and audits as required identifying and minimizing the risk to company and
employees
• Identify unsafe acts, conditions, and hazards, investigate root causes and identify corrective
and preventative actions and report to management
• Co-ordinate at least two evacuation exercises per year to ensure that all staff become familiar
with these procedures.

• Review and update emergency procedures as and when necessary
