The story is set in Gorakhpur, a small town in Uttar Pradesh.

INT. AKASH’S HOUSE - AFTERNOON

Akash, a 20 year old troublemaker, is going through his

clothes in the wardrobe and picks one out.

AKASH
Haa..aaj toh ye pehnunga.

As he is about to pick the clothes, he drops it.

AKASH (CONT'D)
Abe yaar....

He picks up the clothes and-

AKASH (CONT'D)
Koi nai isko isthri ‘wo’ lene ke
baad karta hun.

He is about to go outside, as he walks up to the door, his

mother in the other room calls him.

AMITA
Aaakaasshhh...Aaakaashhh beta..
idhar aao ek minute.

Akash irritated, turns around and starts walking to her-

AKASH
Haan maaa..aaraha hun.

Akash walks to the other room where his mother is.

AMITA
Beta ye facebook pe photu kaise
bhejte hain?

AKASH
Are yaar mummy, kya aap hamesha
isme lagi rehti ho.

AMITA
Beta tum hi toh kehte the na humko
modern ban na chahiye..

AKASH
Aur ye kaunsi photo bhej rahi hein?

AMITA
Humaari family photu..

Arey maa aise kisi anjaan se thodi
na baat karte hain.

AMITA
Arey beta anjaan kahan hai, pichle
shukravaar hi toh mili hun Facebook
pe, tabse baat kar rahi hun inse.
Devi naam hai inka, kitna divya
naam hai, aur humaari tarah inhe
bhi purani picturein pasand hai.

Akash takes the phone hastly and picks the family photo and
sends.

AMITA (CONT'D)
Ye hui na baat...

AKASH
Haan theek hai theek hai. Maa..mein
neeche jaa raha hun, thodi der mein
aata hun.

Akash walks up to the door and goes out.

EXT. CHEMIST - AFTERNOON

AKASH
Unclee!!! Kya haal chaal? Sab
badhiya hi lag raha hai.

Gangadhar; a naive, funny looking and god-fearing 50 year old

chemist, is watching a bhakti channel on a small TV. He
nudges and sets his thick specs and turns to Akash.

GANGADHAR
Sab badhiya hai beta. Haa kya
chahiye?

AKASH
Ek durex ka 3 wala packet dena.

GANGADHAR
Phir se? Hai Raaammmmm...aaj kal
ke..(shakes his head).

Gangadhar wraps the box of condoms in a newspaper and gives

it to Akash.

AKASH
Arey uncle abhi toh humari umar hai
ye sab karne ki.

GANGADHAR
Arey beta pyaar toh humaare zamaane
mein hua karta tha. (Starts
singing) Chookar mere mann ko kiya
tune kya ishara (stops). Wah wah..
kya gaane hua karte the.

AKASH
Waise Uncle aaj kal ek aur badhiya
gaana aaya hai..

Raat ke maze hi alag honge,

Hamaare bistar tho kya mehboob bhi
saje honge,
Mulaaqat toh ek do hi baar hui hai,
Humaare jazbaat toh kya humaare
shehzaade (looks and points to his
crotch with his eyes) bhi buland
honge.

Gangadhar is visibly extremely embarrassed.

GANGADHAR
Bhag yahaan se..naalayak.

Gangadhar shoos Akash away. After he leaves-

GANGADHAR (CONT'D)
Aaya bada shehzaada buland karne
wala, (looks at his crotch) Ram ram
ram ram!!!

INT. RADHA’S HOUSE - AFTERNOON

Radha, an innocent 19 year old is watching an old hindi movie

on her phone.

Her phone rings.

RADHA
Hello..haan Akash.

AKASH
Radha..aaj shaam ko hum lene
aayenge tumhe. Kitne baje aayein?

RADHA
6 baje tak aajayie.

AKASH
Ghar pe batayi ho na?

RADHA
Haan hum batadiye hain ki kuch
doston ke saath ghoomne jaa rahe
hain.

AKASH
Acha. Apna location hume whatsapp
kardijiyega, hum ajayenge time pe.

RADHA
Ji theek hai.

Radha cuts the call, smiles and is excited.

INT. AKASH’S HOUSE - EVENING

Akash is getting ready. He applies a lot of gel and sets his

hair, sprays perfume excessively. He walks up to his
wardrobe, opens the newspaper wrapping. He takes out two
condoms and keeps in his pocket.

INT/EXT. RADHA'S HOUSE

Gangadhar is resting on his sofa after a long day at the shop

with eyes closed. Someone rings the house bell.

GANGADHAR
Arey suniye..koi aaya hai darwaze
pe.

Nobody answers.

GANGADHAR (CONT'D)
Radha ki mummy!!!

Nobody answers again. He gets up-

GANGADHAR (CONT'D)
Humaara chashma kahan gaya...kuch
nahi dikh raha..

He continues searching for his specs but to no avail. He gets

up and opens the door.

GANGADHAR (CONT'D)
Haan kaun?

Akash is shocked seeing him.

AKASH
Uncle mein Radha..ka..dost..

GANGADHAR
Acha haan, Radha ne bataya tha.
Andar aao beta, baahar kaahe khade
ho.

Akash walks in.

GANGADHAR (CONT'D)
Oo ka hai na beta humara chashma
kho gaya hai isliye pehchaan nahi
paaye. Baitho baitho, khade kaahe
ho.

Akash sits smiling and starts looking for Radha. Radha

appears.

RADHA
Tum aagaye?

Radha looks at Gangadhar.

RADHA (CONT'D)

Papa ye humaare dost hain, Akash.

GANGADHAR
Acha acha. Beta..humara chashma
nahi milraha, zara dhoond di jiye.

Radha starts searches for his specs.

Akash tries making faces in front of Gangadhar, mocking him.

Radha finds the specs and gives it to Gangadhar. He cleans

them and wears it. His vision clears and-

GANGADHAR (CONT'D)
Tum??? Yahan kyun aaye ho???

AKASH
Wo...main..(smirks)

RADHA
Papa? Aap jaante ho isko?

GANGADHAR
Haan beta hum ise kaise nahi jaan
sakte.

Radha looks at Akash and asks-

RADHA
Akash, tum Papa ko pehle mil chuke
ho? Kabhi bataye nahi.

Gangadhar interjects-

GANGADHAR
Haan! Isse toh bahut baar milchuka
hun. Aaj bhi toh ye naalayak aaya
tha...

Radha is confused and looks at Akash.

AKASH
Haan wo kya hai na hum aaj
shehzaade ke liye sherwaani lene
gaye the toh uncle dikh gaye the.

RADHA
(Confused) Shehzaada..matlab??

GANGADHAR
Beta hum aapko bataa rahe hain ye
ladka sahi nahi hai. Hain, aise
dost log hai tumhaare?

Meanwhile-

AKASH
(Singing swiftly; mockingly)
Chookar mere mann ko, kiya tune kya
ishaara...

Gangadhar gets triggered even more. His face swells with

anger.

RADHA
Papa aap aise kyun baat kar rahe
ho.

GANGADHAR
Phir kaise baat karu iss naalayak
se? Beta tum abhi bacche ho, tum
nahi samjhoge. Tum rehne do.

RADHA
Papa magar..

Gangadhar interjects.

GANGADHAR
Koi agar magar nahi, tum iske saath
kahin nahi jaogi.
(MORE)

GANGADHAR (CONT'D)
Jaise Abhimanyu chakravyuh mein
phas gaye the, waise hum aapko nahi
phasne denge. Bilkul nahi. Paap
khud ko toh lagega hi, humein bhi
lapete mein lelogi, hain? Na
na..(shakes his head).

Gangadhar looks at Akash and-

GANGADHAR (CONT'D)
Tum niklo yahan se..jaldi! Aaj ke
baad dikhai na de jana humko. Mayya
kasam sar war phod denge tumhaari.

Through action, Radha says sorry to Akash and tells him that
she will call him later. Akash nods.

As Akash is leaving, Gangadhar’s wife shows up hearing the

hullabaloo. She sees Akash and-

DEVI
Arey Akash...

Gangadhar looks at Devi and Akash simultaneously.

GANGADHAR
Devi...tum...bhi?
