MARKETING STRATEGIES THAT ARE TO BE USED BY OUR BUSINESS.

Understanding the market place.

As a first step, we understood the customers’ needs and wants for example, the needs that fall in
different categories ranging from food, clothing and shelter but the main need of our concern was
providing food in form of fruits, also the want was to be quenching thirst in which we provided
juice. And the demand for these needs and wants was backed by them willing to buy and pay.
Thus, customer satisfaction was reached beyond their expectation.
Design a customer driven marketing strategy.
To design a winning customer driven marketing strategy, we answered two important questions;
what customers will we serve? In selecting the customers to serve, we divided the market into
segments of customers and selected the segments to target. This was to help us select customers
that we can serve well and profitably. For example, kyambogo students who like classy things,
lecturers among others. The second question was how can we serve these customers best? We
differentiated from our competitors for example dealing in a variety and having unique
packaging.
Preparing a marketing plan and program.
We started by making our marketing strategy outlines for the customers we will serve and how it
will create value for them. For example, we intend to offer fruits which are nutritious with
vitamin c hence good for their health.
Building customer relationships.
Customer relationship management is perhaps the most important concept of marketing. It is the
overall process of building and maintaining profitable customer relationships by delivering
superior customer value and satisfaction. It deals with all aspects of acquiring, keeping and
growing customers for example through the fruits customers gain a number of benefits such as
nutrition, reliable packaging, safe delivery which makes them all feel important hence creating
customer relationship with the seller.
Capturing value from customers.
The final step involves capturing customer value in form of current and future sales, market
share and profits. By creating superior customer value through offering our quality fruits and
juice, we shall be able to highly satisfy customers who will stay loyal and buy more.
Unique advantages we will have over others.
Our products shall suit all, classes of people in terms of prices, quantity and variety since we
