Executive Summary
Bandhan has teamed up with airlines like US Bangla airlines, Nova air and Regent
Airways. For the bus tickets we have teamed up with Hanif Enterprises, Desh Travels
limited, Shyamali Enterprises etc. For hotel room and services we have made deals
with the maximum range of hotels to create as many options we can for our clients
to choose from. We will also make contacts with these organisations by setting a
certain percentage of commission through negotiations with them.

Our marketing strategy is mostly based on social media, because that’s the best way
to attract our target market, the younger generations. We will be actively promoting
our service through our official pages and our app. We will be incredible in
promotions because of our head of marketing’s background as a well-known
content creator. He would help immensely in getting our name out to the masses
even before our launch. We will also have special discounts and even give away. We
are going to collaborate with celebrities which would be very effective among the
younger generations. We will also be promoting ourselves in educational
institutions, apart from social media this is another major way of getting the
attention of our target market. We plan on covering every school in our adjacent
areas. Our entire marketing plan and pricing strategy is given in detail later in this
business plan.
Our marketing strategy mainly focuses on social media as our app is mostly
targeted towards the younger generation. Our organization will be promoted
through our official page, website and app. By creating unique contents by our
content creator, we can capture the attention of young individuals through aesthetic
shots and videos and this would aid immensely in making our brand well known to
everyone before our launch. Other marketing techniques that can be implemented
is by giving out discounts, holiday packages,giveaways or even collaborating with an
influencer or vlogger that advertises our tours. Apart from these, another way is to
advertise directly in our target market which is by advertising in educational
institutions through stalls and flyers. Our entire marketing plan and pricing strategy
is given in detail later in this business plan.
The estimated financial amount required to start the journey of the Bandhan is BDT
120,00,000 (1.2 Crore) initially. The company’s initial partners will invest 12,00,000
Taka from their savings and personal loans, which sums to BDT 48,00,000 (48 lac).
The remaining 72,00,000 Taka of the investment required is to be collected from our
valued investors by claiming 60% of total share on the first year of launching.
According to estimations, our breakeven point is going to hit in the 2 nd year. Our
financial plan as well is given in detail later in this business plan.
Our long term plan is to let people, especially the young generation, enjoy the
naturistic views and experience the history of the places as well as meet diversity of
people around the world. It will help them in educating themselves and appreciate
the beauty of nature.

There are other features that make it easier for the people to use the app, that is
they don’t have to be physically present to purchase their tickets and confirm their
bookings as with ”Bandhan” they can confirm their bookings in just a few seconds
online.

Vision:
Currently, we have decided to launch our service only localised to a few of the
largest and popular tourist spot districts of our country. However, we plan to
expand it to all the districts of Bangladesh and eventually want to add more
features to further enhance our vision and goals as well as gaining more new
customers. As mentioned earlier, in our first years of service we are going to target
the most desired tourism places according to our survey. Our headquarter is
situated in Dhaka. We are going to 2 more branch offices in Chittagong and Sylhet.
Later, we will be opening 3 branches which includes Khulna, Barisal and Cox’s Bazar.
Finally, Our main goal is to turn our business into a world class international travel
agency.

Md Zubair Hossain Amith is the founder and CEO of Bandhan travel agency. He
will make the major decisions for any collaborations or sign agreements with any
hotels, transport service companies.
Education background:
● BBA in General Management from Independent University, Bangladesh. ●
MBA in tourism management from American International University,
Bangladesh.
Professional background:
● Founder and Ceo of Bandhan travelling agency.
● Founder of more than 10 groups on Facebook. Organised around more than
500 travelling events under Bangladesh Tour Club.
● Worked under Heritage Air Express.
● Involved in Family travel agency business.
Md Asiful Islam Bhuiyan is one of the partners of Bandhan travel agency. He is the
CEO of AS IT firm. His firm is well reputed for his experienced work on software and
website development. Not only that he provided his service for lots of well reputed
clients around the world. He recruited experienced and well skilled team members
in his company. He successfully created more than 30 apps and developed more
than 50 websites. He took the responsibility of managing all the virtual development
and making a better user interface for the consumers. So that the consumer can
have a better user experience.
Education background:

● MSc in CSE from Independent University, Bangladesh.

● Worked at Huawei for 3 years.

Abu Hurayra is also one of the partners of Bandhan app. He Is the Chief Finance
Officer of this company.He took responsibility for all finance and will see our finance
department and give us financial advice. His duty includes financial transactions and
handling all our finance legal issues.
Educational Background:
● BBA in Finance from Dhaka University.
Professional background:
● Worked for DHL for 3 years as assistant financial officer.
● Involved in family business as a financial planner.
Mainul Hasan is a well skilled and experienced recruited member For Bandhan
app. He is the Chief Marketing officer of our company. His responsibility is to
identify the target market, promote and create content to attract and engage more
customers over time. He has his own marketing company mostly online based and
has been creating content and marketing through social media, over 25 business
organizations. He has made quite a name for himself for his creative and modern
contents for attracting customers through social media. So he will be helpful for our
company in producing valuable and engaging content for our social media
platforms and websites that attract our target groups.

Hotel booking – going out on a trip without staying is not worth it. We value and
prioritize our customers' privacy and a safe environment where they can have their
own time. We have signed an agreement with different hotels or motels in different
places in this country. In Cox’s Bazar we have an agreement with Ocean Paradise,
Western Heritage, Royal Tulip and many more.
Organizing a tour – Bandhan will create plans especially depending on the demand
of the weather and consumers but other than that we will find out unique places
and give the customers an opportunity to spectate that place.
From the beginning to the end, we will provide in depth details of the location, hotel
and food. But our responsibility doesn’t end here, we will also be providing a travel
guide so that he can help with all travel related needs and wants like medical
assistant and exploring places. But if the customer is not willing to have a tour
guide, they won’t receive any benefit so this is why we kept it optional.

Product Details
The Bandhan app is created with user comfort in mind. People of all ages who use
smartphones or have access to the internet can use this app without any difficulties.
If users go through the app accordingly, they can identify how easy it is for them.
First, users have to sign up to the app by using Your email ID. To sign in, they have
to use a password for safety issues. After that it will take the user to the page where
After submitting the information, they have to click on services from the menu
button. It will take them to the option “Select Service”. Users can choose their
required services accordingly. The services are hotel bookings, bus tickets and air
ticket bookings.
If our users are opting out for hotel booking, they can choose this option. First,
users have to search the city/hotel/area. After that it will show hotels available in
those areas. They can check the star and rating and also price for the hotels. Then
they have to tap on check availability for further details.
After that they can see photos of the desired hotel. Then they have to select a
check-in date and check-out date. It will automatically show how many nights have
been selected. They have to select how many people will stay, if there are any

children or not and how many rooms are needed. After selecting all the things, they
have to click the book for confirmation.
Then It will show how much money they have to pay. The payment method is really
easy. Users can pay through Bkash, Rocket, Nagad, Master Card, American Express,
Visa. After that, the booking will be confirmed, and they have to download the
receipt and show it to the desired hotel. Users can also rate their booking
experience for our better understanding.
Bus ticket booking is another service of ours. They have to type where they are
living and where they want to go. After that it will show the buses by which they can
go to their desired places. It will also show the departure time, arrival time, available
seats and price for better understanding. Then they have to tap on view seats for
booking
After selecting seats it will turn green. They have to tap on the book for our
confirmation. They can pay the money online and have to download the ticket
which they have to show it to the desired counter.
Air ticket booking is our last service, and It is an easy method. Here users have to
put our location, desired place to go, date in which they want to go. After that, all
the flights will appear with their departure time and arrival time and price. Simply
they have to tap on a book to confirm our booking.
Then they have to pay the money through online services. It will appear a message
saying payment was successful. After that they have to download the ticket and
show it to the airport.

All our features have uniqueness of their own. Bandhan is providing an easier app
service than other agencies in Bangladesh. You can book hotels, air and bus tickets
with a few clicks just within one app. You do not have to look through thousands of
websites just to compare price ranges and different services. Detailed description of
our service is given below.

8. Users will face zero penalties if they cancel ticket booking 24 hours before
departure.

will be penalized and 60% will get refunded.We are trying our best to give the
next level experience to our travellers and tourists.This app can easily help
tourists who visit our country and faces trouble to book hotels or air/bus
tickets.

Market research
It has been observed through numerous surveys that students really wish to go on
tours with their friends but are usually unable to do so due to unfriendly budget
prices as well as improper security in this country. Therefore, Bandhan ensures that
it provides budget friendly offers for students as well as proper security for students
by collaborating with safe and trusted companies.
Nowadays, social media has gotten so incorporated in the young generation’s lives
that, and so when influencers travel to tours, young students also wish to go on
such tours which proves that the demand for student friendly tours is very high.

Our product is providing services to the customer as it is a B2C business. Bandhan
is a third-party organization, so we have contracts with different well-known
companies.

The Headquarters of Bandhan will be located in Dhaka initially and gradually once
we start to increase revenue along with demand we will be setting up our branches
in Chittagong and Sylhet. As a long term plan, we will have branches nationally.
Consumers do not need to come to our office for payment, as the payment
methods will be online payment. As we will have contacts with the companies, we
will contact them by phone call as mentioned the payment will be online.
Promotion
As Bandhan is mostly targeted to the students, we will be offering student discounts
by showing valid proof everytime they book using our app. Other than that, the first
25 customers will be recieving 10-20% discounts as a startup discount. Customers
will also gain points as we will be setting a limit that, if the customer reaches a
certain point, they will receive a discount voucher or merchandise.

Segmentation
● Demographic: Users need to be above 18 to register to our app and show their
passport or their national ID card for verification.
● Geographic: We will start off by providing our services for users in the 3 big
cities Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. Gradually our service will be expanded
throughout all 64 districts, for example bandarban, khagrachari etc. Our long-
term goal is that we will provide our service throughout the country.
● Product related: Our service will be approved by the government so we will
assure the user of the app that we will provide the best services and
products. Also, customer can rate our services and can send feedback so that
later people can check the app users experience.
Target market
For this field, we will be mainly targeting the students as demand. This app is also
open for adults of different professions, as they also want to go out for trips.

Pricing strategy
Using the services provided by Bandhan, we tried to keep the prices as low as we
could, to attract as many customers as possible, while making decent revenue
without any loss at the beginning.
Bandhan will also implement a strategy to ensure that all the discount offers,
promotional prices, holiday packages of all the companies that Bandhan had
formed a contract with, may it be discount in hotel rooms, or discount in bus fares,
they will all be shown in the Bandhan app through promotional banners from those
companies that are offering such deals. Therefore, this strategy is efficient for the
customers as they can see all the offers and discounts of all the companies in one
place, that is the Bandhan app.
Bandhan will also frequently advertise and promote the companies that pay a
higher commission, as higher commissions benefit Bandhan. In other words, the
other companies will be willing to pay a higher commission to ensure their
companies get promoted frequently as well. Basically this tactic would act as an
incentive for the other companies to pay a higher commission to Bandhan which is
advantageous to Bandhan.
Promotional strategy:
We are focusing on 3 promotional strategies-
● Social media advertisement through our official page: Prior to officially
launching our business we will promote our soon to be launched Bandhan by
posting several videos of our tours through creative videography by drones
as well as interviewing a number of customers who share their experience
using our Bandhan app. On top of these, our marketing head will post
creative contents to promote future discount offers and packages ensuring
that there are regular customer interactions and the page is active.

Our Budget for the first year or the launching year will be 1,20,00,000 Taka and next
year our partners will invest 50,00,000 Taka. In the third year, our partners will
invest 30,00,000 Taka and to maintain free- flowing cash. According to estimation
