Sub: Regarding ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Madam/Sir,
With reference to the subject cited above, it is to be noted that ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is
a campaign under aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga
home and to hoist/display it to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence.

To mark this monumental occasion you are requested to actively participate and
organize the campaign from 11th August, 2022 to 15th August, 2022 in your respective schools. Also
various activities/competitions will also be carried out among the students from 9th August, 2022
onwards. A brief guideline in this regard is enclosed for your ready reference. You are also asked to
submit a collage of photographs of all the activities and a good quality video in the official
WhatsApp groups.

GUIDELINE FOR ‘HAR GHAR TIRANGA’

1. All schools to participate in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and will display the logo of
the campaign at their social sites (facebook, twitter, instagram etc), websites
(Wherever applicable) and notice boards of the schools (print/art form).

2. Schools to organize Prabhat pheries to aware the community on hoisting the flag at
their homes to popularize the campaign from 11th – 13th August, 2022. Schools are
directed to organize parents’ teacher meetings, involve Mother groups, SMC/SMDC
members to popularize the campaign and ensure greater participation.

3. All teachers are directed to hold special assemblies and share information on the Flag
of India, Flag Code of India etc. The recent amendments of Flag Code of India must
be informed to the students.

4. All schools to conduct Flag painting, essay, quiz and extempore speech competition
amongst students to involve them in the campaign.

5. All students are directed to upload pictures with the hoisted/displayed flag in their
homes in social sites tagging Samagra Shiksha Assam and use hash tag #
HarGharTiranga with the name of their schools, district and the state. In case of
minor students, schools will upload the pictures.

6. Teachers and parents are encouraged to ‘Pin a Flag’ virtually at


https://harghartiranga.com, along with posting a ‘Selfie with Flag’ on the site.

7. Flags can be purchased from local post offices, panchayat offices, block offices etc. it
may be noted that purchase of flags is voluntary. Nodal teachers are trained to do this
exercise.

8. To know about the dos and don’ts of flag displaying and hoisting flag the link

9. Schools will conduct various activities to participate or to popularize the campaign,


however in no case Flag code of India should be violated.

10. All student hostels, KGVBs to be given instruction ensure flag hoisting in the hostel
premises. KGVBs are instructed to upload picture of children holding flags.

Har Ghar Tiranga
• Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people
to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist/display it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.

• To mark this momentous occasion and to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people,
everyone is encouraged to hoist the flag in your homes from 13th to 15th August 2022.

❖ All IS/DEEOs to divide the schools of their locality in three categories depending on the location.

❖ Each group will carry out Prabhat Pheri on each day. Schools of one cluster can come together and start the pheri. Students
and teachers are requested to sing patriotic songs, chant Bande Matram etc.

❖ Maximum Distance 1 K.M to be covered in Prabhat Pheri.

Let’s participate too:
1. Buy the Indian Flag and hoist the Indian flag in your homes from 13th to 15th August 2022.

2. All are requested to upload pictures with the hoisted/displayed flag in their homes in social sites tagging
Samagra Shiksha Assam and use hashtag # HarGharTiranga.

3. You are also encouraged to ‘Pin a Flag’ virtually at https://harghartiranga.com, along with posting a ‘Selfie
with Flag’ on the site.
Monitoring of the activity:
1. A google form will be shared in the WhatsApp group for each day for which the reporting should be done on
daily basis without fail.

2. All district officials are requested to submit daily reports on Har Ghar Tiranga from 11th August 2022 to 15th
August 2022.

3. All districts to upload pictures in social media on each day by tagging Samagra Shiksha Assam and use
hashtag #HarGharTiranga.
