1.) Explain how emotions influence attitudes and behavior.

Human cognitive functions such as attitude, behavior, perspective, attentiveness, knowledge,

memorization, logic, and problem-solving are all significantly influenced by emotion. Emotion
has a pretty effective impact on attitude, modifying its selectivity in particular and influencing
behavior and action motivation.

2.) Identify five ways to manage workplace stress.

Every person who has ever worked has experienced the weight of work-related stress at some
point. You should take action to reduce your workplace stress. You may help manage your
workplace in the following five ways:
● Learn to unwind. Stress-reduction techniques include mindfulness, deep breathing
exercises, and meditation.
● Get some assistance. Accepting assistance from dependable family members and
friends might help you be better at stress management.
● Spend some time resting. We require time to refuel and get back to our pre-stress
level of productivity in order to prevent the damaging consequences of long-term stress
and burnout.
● Establish limits. It's simple to feel under pressure to be accessible all the time in
today's digital age.
● Maintain a stressor log. Gratitude logbook for a week or two to note the circumstances
that stress you out the most and how you handle them.

3.) Enumerate and discuss the strategies for minimizing resistance to change.

● Explain the justifications for the change. The next tactic to combat change resistance
is to explain the what, why, and how. Create a communication strategy that goes beyond
merely telling your staff what to do. Each audience is segmented and targeted in
effective communication, which focuses on the information they need to know and care
about. Explain how this development will be beneficial to them.
● Execute in phases. Any kind of shift takes time, whether it be digital or not. Change is
properly planned for, with ample notice given and involvement from staff members at all
levels. Employees will be able to handle the change single step at a time and learn the
new and pertinent abilities before they go if the plan is implemented in stages.
● Exercises in change management should be done. Fear and a sense of threat are
two common emotions that fuel resistance to change. There are some easy activities
that workers can use to imitate the experience of change to assist overcome this.

4.) Suppose you are asked by senior officers of a city government to identify ways to
reinforce a new culture of teamwork and collaboration. The senior executive group
clearly supports these values, but they want everyone in the organization to embrace
them. Identify four (4) types of activities that would strengthen these cultural values.
It's fascinating to note that the word organizational culture essentially encompasses all of an
organization's outward manifestations, such as how it does business. These actions can be
carried out since the focus is on fostering collaboration and teamwork as little more than a new
cultural foundation for the organization:

● There has to be a task distribution among team members

● Giving incentives as individual performance is not rewarded as much as group
performance.
● Periodically switch out each team member's job
● Provide chances for both individual and group thought sharing.

5.) Differentiate the four(4) personality types.

These fundamental groups have been known by many names over the ages, but for our
reasons, we will refer to them as the controller, the socializer, the theorist, and the believer.
These personality types are A, B, C, and D, respectively. An individual with a type A personality
likes to be in charge and to have control over their environment and lives. Due to their lack of a
strong attention to detail, they frequently decide to delegate specifics to others. The Type B
personality is very outgoing, lively, and quick-witted. They enjoy being around people and the
limelight. The majority of individuals like them right immediately, and they're good at fostering
relationships. A person with a Type C personality is very detail-oriented and enjoys being
involved in activities that are steady and under control. They are drawn to precision, reason, and
reasoning. Because Type C characters think being emotional makes perspective challenging or
possibly impossible, they will find it annoying when others can't manage to control their feelings.
A Type D personality approaches their career and everyday life at a slower, gentler pace. They
enjoy performing repetitive work on a daily basis and seek employment security and longevity.
They might become quite proficient at what they do thanks to the repetition.
