A. BRIEF NOTE ON THE SITE SELECTED

The site is situated in Bajegaon Pathar village of Mairajhar Pathar VCDC

under Gobardhana Dev. Block.
The site has been selected as per feasibility criteria of Amrit Sarovar with
joint verification of site with B.D.O., Officials from Fishery Department and
PRI members of the VCDC. Moreover the land where the scheme is
proposed in identified as public land.

B. SITE SELECTION CRITERIA

The area of land required is sufficient to excavate and for storage and stacking
of excavated land can be done around the fishery. The selected site receives
sufficient amount of r a i n w a t e r d u r i n g m o n s o o n s e a s o n through
drainage and it is located at low lying area. Moreover the site is suitable for
plantation purpose.

C. REJUVENATION:
The fishery site is new and will be excavated fresh.
