MOBILIZATION PLAN

INTRODUCTION

Upon award of contract and Notice to Proceed (NTP) mobilization activities will commence according to this Site
Mobilization Plan. Mobilization will consist of the following:

1. Mobilization of necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools and supervision to commence work on the project.

2. Continued processing of the required submittals which includes administrative and procedural requirements for
submitting project work plans, product data, samples and any other submittals required in the Project Specifications.
3. Performance of pre-construction activities, which include the construction of the stabilized construction roads,
entrance, and office cabins.

4. The Contractor personnel, taking part in the active remediation activities, will receive the required medical
surveillance prior to any hazardous or intrusive site work being performed.

SITE MOBILIZATION ACTIVITIES

1.2.1 CONSTRUCTION ROADS & ENTRANCE


Initial equipment will be mobilized to construct the stabilized entrance and roads. The construction sequence
will include:
The removal of the existing stone surface and soils to the specified base depth; followed by
Compaction; followed by
The delivery, placement, grading and compacting of the sub base.
The site office/yard entrance will be maintained in a condition that will prevent tracking of sediment or soil onto
the local roadways. Any sediment spilled, dropped, washed, or tracked onto roadways will be swept and
removed at a minimum of once per day.
1.2.2 TEMPORARY FACILITIES/SUPPORT ZONE
The office/store cabins will be set in the area as presented on attached drawing. The cabins will be set on blocks
and anchored as required. Each cabin will be furnished and supplied with the necessary office furniture,
equipment, and supplies. Temporary utility services will be installed. Potable water and portable toilets will be
provided to service the support facility. The support facility will be maintained in a clean and orderly fashion
throughout the Project.
1.2.3 MOBILIZATION OF HEAVY EQUIPMENT
Heavy equipment will be mobilized to the site and will be staged inside the site security fence. All procurement
will be carried out in compliance with the Contractors procurement policies and methods.
1.2.4 MOBILIZATION OF OPERATIVES
Recruitment of staff shall meet project/consultant requirement.

Prior to the Contract Commencement Date, PM shall establish a local site office, from where it will administer “a
transfer of records” program; subject is always to relevant data protection principles, where applicable. HFC will, as
part as the overall mobilization plan, make arrangements for all relevant records, drawings, licenses and relevant
certificates applicable and dedicated solely to the Project to be made available in order to arrange a smooth
handover. HFC will ensure that from the early stages of the Contract, the flow of information and data is effective,
accurate and auditable, so that informed management decisions can be made and Contract Key Performance
Indicators, correctly reported in a timely manner.

The Mobilization Team will be organized by workstream.
