PRESS RELEASE-Sampoornand Sanskrit University
PRESS RELEASE-Sampoornand Sanskrit University
RELEASE
(NEW
DELHI,
8th
January
2020):
The
National
Students
Union
of
India(NSUI)
would
like
to
inform
that
our
candidates
won
a
thumping
victory
at
all
the
four
elected
positions
of
the
Sampoornanand
Sanskrit
University
in
Varanasi,
Uttar
Pradesh.
The
startling
fact
is
that
this
victory
of
NSUI
was
at
the
home
constituency
of
our
Prime
Minister,
Shri
Narendra
Modi
where
his
Organisation’s
affiliated
Akhil
Bharatiya
Vidyarthi
Parishad(ABVP)
lost
elections
on
all
contested
seats.
Winning
the
student
body
elections
at
such
a
prestigious
University
makes
a
special
significance
for
NSUI
as
it
is
a
mandate
of
the
student
communities
on
the
policies
of
Narendra
Modi
within
his
very
own
Constituency.
We
congratulate
the
hardwork
and
determination
shown
by
our
cadres,
candidates
and
fellow
students
of
Sampoornanand
University
and
NSUI
UP
East
who
made
this
victory
possible.
A
heartiest
greetings
goes
to
the
NSUI
President
elect
Shivam
Shukla,
Vice
President
Chandan
Kumar
Mishra,
Secretary
Avanish
Mishra
and
Library
Secretary
Rajnikanth
Dubey.
The
National
President,
Shri
Neeraj
Kundan
Ji
congratulated
all
the
elected
candidates
of
NSUI
along
with
the
student
cadre.
He
stated
“
This
victory
is
the
wrath
of
reality
which
the
student
community
showed
to
the
violent
suppressive
Yogi-‐Modi
Fascist
Governments
of
recent
times.
The
students
have
united
against
the
torture
they
received
at
their
hands
for
the
past
few
days
and
came
out
to
vote
to
show
their
anger.
The
victory
is
also
a
reflection
on
the
hardwork
done
by
our
Congress
General
Secretary
Smt.
Priyanka
Gandhi
Vadra
Ji
and
PCC
Chief
Shri
Ajay
Kumar
Lallu
Ji,
who
went
lengths
and
breadth
of
UP
and
Varanasi
to
spread
the
word
of
change
for
the
cause
of
people,
and
stood
for
their
rights.
This
is
just
the
beginning,
as
you
will
now
see
a
systematic
eradication
of
ABVP
and
its
violent
goonda
politics
from
across
campuses
in
India.
The
students
have
rejected
them
outrightly
and
would
continue
to
do
so
in
their
widespread
agitation
across
India.
NSUI
will
stand
with
them,
lead
them
and
bring
a
new
change
inspired
by
our
leaders
like
Priyanka
Ji
and
Rahul
Gandhi
Ji.”
