a. Multiengine Aircraft Weight and Balance Computations
b. Chart Method Using Weight, Arm, and Moments

Answer:

Small multi-engine aircraft and single-engine aircraft have the same discussion
about weight and balance computation. And there are three accomplishing methods that
are used in computing the weight and balance of single-engine aircraft, first is the
manual computing method using weight, arm, and moments; second is the chart
method using weight and moment indexes; third is the loading graph method, which
eliminates the need for some mathematical calculations.
The chart method using the weight, arm, and moment is more likely the same as
the manual computational method of single-engine aircraft. This method provides a
record and computes pertinent weights, arms, and moments for all onboard fuel,
personnel, equipment, cargo, and baggage that is not included in the aircraft’s basic
empty weight (BEW) through a worksheet. In addition, to determine whether or not the
airplane is properly loaded for this flight, use the CG range chart.
The aircraft’s weight and balance accurately determine the aircraft’s takeoff
weight and ensure that the CG is within the aircraft’s design for each flight are critical to
conducting a safe flight test. It is highly recommended that the aircraft be weighed in an
enclosed area using three calibrated scales. The aircraft should be level when weighed,
span wise and fore and aft following the kit manufacturer’s instructions, and should be in
the level flight position.
