Well, here's my $0.02 proposal.

In hind sight I don't know why I thought

this proposal could possiblely make it do to some... flaws in design. I've

lost the origonal proposal, but here is a sketch of it:

Majong

In the Land of Kar'atur (sp?) the great ruler and sage Chi-mein fortold

the time of the Sixth Son when a great monster would arise from the east and

consume the nations. Upon his death he gave each one of his six sons's

family the power to rule over the land of Rokushima Tiayoo for 1,000 years.

For at least 12 meleniums the Mein Dynasty ruled in peace and prosperity.

Then in a far off region of Rokushima Taiyoo the great Hiki Shinpi was born,

the sixth son of Rooshoo. Through guile and trickery he managed to

systematicly destroy each house of the sons of the Mein dynasty except one,

and for this task he called upon the dark powers of

Amatsu-Mikaboshi, god of shadows and evil. He performed a dark ritual and

summoned a Shadow Dragon: a vile monster of the 18 Hells. A pact was made

for Shinpi's soul, and with the power of the deamon Shinpi easily over came

his last advasary and conquired Rokushima Taiyoo. But the story goes

forward. Years later when he was about to die Shinpi decided he would

destroy the monster he summoned. He partitioned his land among his sons and

armored up. When he reached the caverns where the deamon dewlled he was

suddenly struck and stunned. He had played directly into the monster's

hands. Mahjong had sent a Ninja to assassinate his two favorate sons and as

he reeled on the floor helpless, he saw his boys slaughteed before him. The

Mists settled into the Vally. In a fit of dispair Shinpi considered

suicide, but insted turned his katana upon Mahjong proclaming, 'The gods are

dead'. Mahjong destroyed Shinpi and awaited his soul, but nothing came.

The Dark Powers seized both Mahjong and Shinpi and trapped them both in

incorporeal form in the land of Rokushima Taiyoo.

 Mahjong appears as a 21 foot tall wingless dragon comprised of dark

silver and purple scales. On each scale is the name of every possible sin of

Fraud and Malice and writen on his stomach the names of those he has

destroyed. His primary objective is to deceive and lie and especialy to

convice people that the gods do not exist (this is how he collects his

souls). He is incapeable of telling the truth.
