I am Uzma Masood, I am a teacher by profession , and I am drafting a statement of purpose for a

student visa In Australia. Due to the increase in the use of technology in almost every sector, I have
realized that I should get exposure in Australia that will help me make some contributions in the
teaching sector.

Academic background:

I have completed my Class 10 from an Government girls school Dhamial Rawalpindi-affiliated school in
Rawalpindi . Following it, I completed my intermediate studies in the engineering stream around 50%,
then I pursued my graduation from Islamabad College Of management with Commerce and Economics
and completed it with Second Division.I have a deep Interest in Economics,I completed my degree from
Allama Iqbal University with Grade B.I have diploma of English Language Course.My whole medium of
study is in English.My teachin experience with dealing students and fellow teachers was also in
English.To achieve my goal of pursuing Doctral (PhD)Program in Business Analytics I am writing this
statement of purpose for your evaluation.

Professional Life:

Coming from a middle-class family I have seen my parents sacrifice many things so that we could get
better education. Growing up I was determined to not let my parents’ sacrifice go in vain so I decided to
take up a subject where I thought I could excel. Right from high school, subjects related to business
fascinated me. So, I started to gain in-depth knowledge on subjects like economics, accountancy and
banking. Right after completing my graduation, I managed to clear SBI Junior Assistant exam in the year
2018. But working in a bank couldn’t quench my thirst to explore more and gain more knowledge in this
field so I decided to pursue a masters degree in Business Analytics. In these three years of working at a
bank, I have gained quite a lot of knowledge in banking and accountancy, but I would like to explore
more into it with the help of technology. I believe a formal degree in Business Analytics will help me gain
deeper knowledge of creating effective business plans and gaining more understanding of information
systems and latest analytical tools.
