1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 034 s., 2022 titled: School Calendar and Activities
for School Year 2022-2023, this Office shall conduct monitoring of the opening of
classes, school governance and operations, and the implementation of Basic Education
Curriculum in all public elementary and secondary schools on August 22-25, 2022.

2. This activity aims to:

a) ensure that all elementary and secondary schools adhere to the

provisions stated in the Implementing Guidelines of DO 034, s. 2022;
b) ensure preparedness of school facilities providing relevant services to
learners; and
c) provide instructional support and technical assistance, if necessary.

3. Monitoring of schools shall be done by the Education Program Supervisors,

Public Schools District Supervisors, Engineers, Education Program Specialists, and
Project Development Officers to assigned sub-offices. All nurses shall monitor schools
under their respective sub-offices.

4. Attached are the Monitoring Team and Monitoring Tool designed to gather data
on the school basic information, program enrolment, number of class shifting, readiness
of school resources and extent of implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education
Curriculum (BEC).
