Performance Tasks in Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS)


S.Y. 2022 – 2023

QUARTER 1
Performance Task No. 1 Present an oral essay about the significance of assessing
health-related fitness in a post-pandemic crisis. Students
can use visual aids to make their presentations more
creative. A thesis statement must be presented first,
followed by the body, and concluded with a thesis
statement.

(Integrated Subject: Philippine Politics and Governance)


Performance Task No. 2 Design an environmentally-friendly workout plan
consisting of the following: frequency, intensity, time or
duration, and type of physical activity.

(Integrated Subject: Earth and Life Science)


Performance Task No. 3 As the program committee, they have to create a
proposal for a Zumba event targeting a specific health
issue or concern. The following must be included in the
proposal: title, theme, venue, duration, participants,
rationale, objectives, project description, evaluation, and
committees (e.g., program, research, technical, venue,
documentation, registration, promotion, and recruitment).
All HUMSS students will collaborate with students from
other strands for the implementation of the said event.
QUARTER 2
Performance Task No. 1 Start a podcast focused on the topic: “Stress
Management Through Sports.” It must be at least five (5)
minutes long and to performed by two (2) hosts and three
(3) guests. Each episode will be conducted by a group of
five (5) members.

Performance Task No. 2 Create a promotional video of sports in EEGAFI by
showcasing the basic skills of their chosen individual,
dual and team sport. The video must be one to two
minutes long.
Performance Task No. 3 As the program committee, they have to create a
proposal for a Sports Fest event targeting a specific
health issue or concern. The following must be included
in the proposal: title, theme, venue, duration, participants,
rationale, objectives, project description, evaluation, and
committees (e.g., program, research, technical, venue,
documentation, registration, promotion, and recruitment).
All HUMSS students will collaborate with students from
other strands for the implementation of the said event.

Performance Tasks in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
S.Y. 2022 – 2023

QUARTER 1
Performance Task No. 1 Create an infographic video explaining how humans use
the biosphere for food consumption and nutrition, as well
as how their eating habits affect their fitness.

(Integrated Subject: Earth and Life Science)


Performance Task No. 2 Construct a plan of gardening for exercise indicating the
actions that they will be performing during the
implementation of the school greenery program (e.g.,
walking, digging the soil, planting seeds, and watering the
plants).

Performance Task No. 3 As the research committee, conduct a survey in the
community about the most common health issues or
concerns caused by geological processes (earthquakes,
volcanic eruptions, and landslides). After getting the
results, STEM students will join forces with HUMSS
students for the making of the proposal. All STEM
students will collaborate with students from other strands
for the implementation of the said event.
QUARTER 2
Performance Task No. 1 Make a roleplay that shows how sports can help manage
one’s stress. Each proposition must be supported with
valid information and supplemented with real-life
examples.

(Integrated Subjects: Earth and Life Science, Oral


Communication in Context and 21st Century Literature
from the Philippines)
Performance Task No. 2 Perform a lecture-method role play about the basic skills
of their chosen individual, dual, and team sport. There
must be a demonstration of the skills with verbal
instructions. Students will act as PE teachers, sports
coaches, and athletes.

(Integrated Subjects: Earth and Life Science and Oral


Communication in Context)
Performance Task No. 3 As the research committee, conduct a survey in the
community about the most common health issues or
concerns caused by a sedentary lifestyle. After getting the
results, STEM students will join forces with HUMSS
students for the making of the proposal. All STEM
students will collaborate with students from other strands
for the implementation of the said event.

Performance Tasks in Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM)
S.Y. 2022 – 2023

QUARTER 1
Performance Task No. 1 Make a promotional presentation of their own fitness
center and emphasize fitness, exercise, and diet as the
core content. It must be 3-5 minutes long.

and Introduction to Philosophy of the Human Person)
Performance Task No. 2 Perform a scenario in the role play where students are
performing aerobic, muscle- and bone-strengthening
exercises with correct execution and observing exercise
precautions.

Philippines and the World and Introduction to Philosophy
of the Human Person)
Performance Task No. 3 As the registration, promotion, and recruitment
committee, they will have to create digital posters and
video advertisements for the Zumba event and post them
on social media to gather more participants. All ABM
students will collaborate with students from other strands
for the implementation of the said event.
QUARTER 2
Performance Task No. 1 Conduct a lecture forum about managing one’s stress
through sports. Students will portray the roles of
speakers, businessmen and businesswomen, skill
demonstrators, sports coaches, and LGUs.

Earth and Life Science)
Performance Task No. 2 Record a video executing the basic skills in their chosen
individual, dual and team sport and state its health
benefits to the organ systems of the human body.

Performance Task No. 3 As the registration, promotion, and recruitment
committee, they will have to create digital posters and
video advertisements for the Sports Fest event and post
them on social media to gather more participants. All
ABM students will collaborate with students from other
strands for the implementation of the said event.
