Course Description : This course will provide experiences in a variety of physical activities for the purpose of optimizing health through active
participation and involvement. Students will choose from a menu of course offerings in Dance, Sports, Martial Arts, Group Exercise,
Outdoor and Adventure Activities. In conjunction with fitness concepts, exercise and healthy eating principles, learners will be able
to enhance their fitness through the various physical activities offered in the course that will also emphasizes opportunity for gender
equality and sensitivity among students.

Course Learning Outcomes : Within the semester, the students are expected to:
1. Access, synthesize and evaluate information on personal, cultural and social factors that motivate, exhibit healthy choices
about physical activity, nutrition and behavior to enhance once capacity, to take responsibilities for oneself. (PO1, PO2, PO4,
PO5)
2. Apply concepts such as fair play, empathy, respect for other’s ability and diversity by understanding how these can
influenced their interaction with others. (PO2, PO3)
3. Participate in moderate to vigorous physical activities with the national and global recommendation for physical education.

4. Optimizing movement competence and confidence in a variety of contexts and environments by building upon the
