Topic: REMEDIAL LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS LAGGING BEHIND
Time: 1:00-4:30

Head: What is something in the topic that made you think?

Doing remediation is something that we should do to support students in

catching up on lost learning through a variety of means, including additional
teaching time, focused content, and specific pedagogy

Heart: How do you feel about the topic presented?

This topic moved me as a teacher knowing that this distance learning

right now is quite hard for us especially for those students who are lagging
behind and needs remediation so it measures our sense of belongingness
and willingness to help and save students who badly needs our attention to
fill and close the gap and focus on each student’s areas of deficiency.

Bin: Is there something in the topic that you disagree with?

_
None
Bag: What are your “takeaways” from the topic?

This is a very good program to imposed to our students who are in

need of immediate intervention, yet in order to make it successful we need
support and cooperation from the parents and the students as well their
engagement to this activity is highly required.

Steps: What are next steps you would like to do in regards with the topic?
First and foremost, we need to identify students who needs
remediation then reach out to parents and check the situation and
background that causes the gap of that students then look for a place where
you find comfort to mentor and remediate the students using activities that
you have designed that will suit to their level of learning. Focus on the areas
where they need mastery of that skills, then, repeat the process until you hit
your target for them to master their difficulties and succeed.
