Injector linearity is determined by injecting four different injection volumes of one concentration from the sam e
vial. Empower plots the area versus the µL injected to determine both the injector linearity and accuracy.

The coefficient of determination (R^2) is used to m easure injector linearity. The injector pas s es the linearity test
if R^2 > or = 0.9990.

The injector accuracy is obtained by dividing the y-intercept by the slope. Accuracy pass es if the result is within
the s pecification of < or = 1.0 µL.
