The Running out pinion inspected with stroboscope while the KILN was in operation. The temperature difference across the tooth

flank is well within the limit. The load is not uniformly distributed, it is concentrated towards center to DE side. The CSB
vibration in all the point is well within limit. Scuffing marks as well as pitting marks observed on the tooth flank, although those
are very small in nature and also those are in stable condition.

Girth gear inspected with stroboscope while the KILN was in operation. The temperature difference across the tooth flank is well

within the limit. The load is not uniformly distributed, it is concentrated towards center to DE side. Scuffing marks as well as
pitting marks observed on the tooth flank, although those are very small in nature, and also those are in stable condition. One
hitting can felt during the full rotation of the gear. Proper inspection door is not there to inspect the gear in dynamic condition.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Kindly arrange to check the spray pattern in a periodic interval to ensure its orientation is correct.
Please arrange to make one hinge type inspection window to check the girth gear and pinion just on the top of grease spray panel. It
is better to avoid open the spray panel all the time to check the pinion, as it may cause to disturb the alignment in between spray
nozzle and tooth flank.

This KILN gear drive is running with a good parameters. As its having some scuffing and pittings, so we recommend to run this drive
with higher base oil viscosity lubricant. Please arrange to run the KILN with Kluberlub OG11-1000. We will optimize the
consumption from 7.5kg/day to 5.5kg/day.
