ACTIVITY
The teacher will group the class into two groups. Each of the group will do the following:
1. The group will identify the context of what the teacher is presenting.
2. All of the members must participate in identifying the context and they should write their answer in a piece of paper.
3. The first group to give the right answer will earn a point.
4. The group will be given 15 minutes to do this activity.
ANALYSIS
The teacher will ask students questions processing the activity;
Questions:
1. What have you observed while doing the activity?
2. What can you say about the contexts being presented? Are they familiar?
3. How did you identify the context of the text, picture, or video?
4. What can you say about the choices? Are they similar or different?
5. What do you think is the topic all about?
ABSTRACTION
The teacher will ask the students the following questions and will give time for each group to discuss their answers to the
class.
Questions:
1. What do you think is intertextuality all about?
2. What do you think are the different type of Intertextuality?
3. What are the strategies in intertextuality?
4. What do you think are the advantages of Intertextuality?
APPLICATION
The teacher will present more examples of intertextuality. Each group must guess whether the context presented is
ALLUSION or PARODY. The teacher will call volunteers from each group to present and explain their answer. This is to allow
student participation as a way of developing critical thinking in a form of application of their knowledge.
EVALUATION
Watch the music video of the song "ROAR" by Katy Perry. In a 1 whole sheet of paper, answer the following questions.

Direction: Watch a movie during your free time. Choose one movie that has an intertextuality on it. Write a movie review in a 1
whole sheet of paper and answer the following questions below.

1. What type of intertextuality is employed in the movie?
2. Did the intertext help you understand the movie more? How?
