Learning Outcomes
At the end of the lesson, the students will able to:
 determine some causes and effect of stress;
 identify some helpful ways to manage stress more effectively; and
 display coping mechanism out from their experiences in managing stress.

on inside.

We all experience stress in our lives. In fact, the vast majority of health problems are
caused or influenced by stress, it is then important to understand how stress affects your body
and learn effective stress management techniques to make stress work for you rather than
against you.
Many of us struggle with stress, especially in the youth today–at school and in our
personal life. Like any problem, stress requires a strategic approach to conquer, or at least
manage. Stress is real, but we always have a choice–we can let it consume us or we learn to
control it

ABSTRACTION
What is Stress?

Stress is your body’s response to changes in your life. Because life involves constant
change—ranging from everyday, routine changes like commuting from home to work to
adapting to major life changes like marriage, divorce, or death of a loved one—there is no
avoidance to stress.

We have many ways how to handle or manage our stress, but here are some
suggestions that may be applied to reduce stress.
