Day 3- August 24, 2022

I. Objective
To help learners grow in confidence as they reflect on one of the following:
something I’m good at, something I love, someone who loves me, my favorite
things.
II. Topic
Confidence Drawing
“I can do my best in school, develop healthy relationships with my peers, and
imagine a bright future for myself.”

Materials- paper, crayons, oil pastels or pentel pen

IV. Procedure
A. Classroom Routine
1. Prayer
2. Greetings
Good afternoon, children.
3. Check-in
How are you today?
Use the emoticon chart. Ask who is feeling each emotion in class. All
emotions are welcome.
4. Energy Check
Warm-up Song
5. Set Guidelines
Recall of health and safety protocols and classroom rules.

B. Presentation/Motivation
How often do you think about your positive qualities? How do you feel about
it?

C. Teaching and Modelling


It is important that you know your positive qualities because they will help
you overcome challenges in life or in school.

D. Psychosocial Support Learning Activities


“Confidence Drawings”
1. Give your learners paper and crayons.
2. Ask your learners to draw something about themselves (the teacher
should choose one theme so all the learners stick to the same
drawing concept). Choose among:
 something I’m good at
 something I love
 someone who loves me
 my favorite thing, etc.
3. Ask your learners to share their drawings with the group.
4. Remind learners that they may offer affirmations to each one who
shares in their group.

What will I do to have a healthy relationship with my peers or family with my
positive qualities?

F. Synthesis/Generalization
Today, I learned about the importance of having positive qualities.

G. Closing
How did you feel about the activity? Remember that while we make
space for hard feelings in our lives, it’s good to also remember that there are
many things to be proud of in our lives as well.
