MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This memorandum of agreement, is entered into by and between the Department of

Education Division of Misamis Oriental located at Apolinar Velez Street, Cagayan de Oro City
duly represented by ,Public School Division Supervisor /
Coordinating Principal, District of , Division of Misamis Oriental and
, Municipal Social Welfare Development Officer of , Misamis
Oriental.

In consistent with the Constitutional provision on Education Article XIV, Section 1

provides that, The state shall protect and promote the right of all citizens to quality education at
all levels, and shall take appropriate steps to make such education accessible to all.

WITNESSETH

WHEREAS, Per implementation of Republic Act 10533 Otherwise known as the Act of
Enhancing the Philippine Basic Education System by Strengthening its Curriculum and
Increasing number of years for Basic Education Appropriating Funds therefore and for Other
Purposes which is the legal basis of the K to 12 Curriculum, requesting the Municipal Social
Welfare Development Officer of , Misamis Oriental, to enter into a memorandum of
agreement that all Day Care Center Teachers will be monitored by the Department
of Education on Content and Pedagogy only through the respective School Heads (Elementary
Principals and Head Teachers) of every public elementary school in each barangay within the
Municipality.

WHEREAS, both parties have now agreed to formalize the monitoring of content and
pedagogy of all Day Care Center Teachers in cognizance of the K to 12 Curriculum of the
Republic of the Philippines, Department of Education, District of , to ensure the
alignment of learning of the basic skills for Early Childhood Education intended to all
preschoolers under the new curriculum;

Now, therefore, for and in consideration of the foregoing agreement, the parties hereto
do hereby agree:

1. That, the School Head of every public elementary school in each barangay where the
Day Care Centers are located shall assist all the Day Care Center Teachers on the
content and pedagogy;

2. That, the School Head in every public elementary school in each barangay shall
extend assistance to all Day Care Center Teachers relative to Early Childhood
Education implementation and improvement of basic skills (reading, numeric and
writing) of the preschoolers enrolled thereat;

3. That, the term of the agreement shall be perpetual or as long as it is needed for
educational improvement purposes only, effective upon the signing of this
agreement;

4. That, any modification of this agreement shall be subject to the mutual agreement
of both parties;
