Website Creation
What is a website?
A website is a set of web pages connected to a single web domain. Basically the
website is primarily of 5 types of website it is classified on the basis of purpose of
creation are as follows:-

1) Corporate website

2) Ecommerce website

3) Informative website

4) Social media website

5) Personal website

1) Corporate websites
Corporate websites are that website which tells about a specific business. It's
deliverable, team, and contact information. e.g. - drag it digitals, iway digitals, etc.

2) Ecommerce websites
Ecommerce websites are those websites that are used to sell products and services
to their online customers. e.g. - flipkart, lenskart, amazon etc.

3) Informative websites
Are those website which collects, combines, present information from different
sources. It is basically a collection of information. E.g. - Wikipedia

There are 5 types of informative websites named as: classified portals,

education portal, job portal, news portal, industry-specific portal
4) Social media website
These websites allow electronic communication between online users. e.g. -
facebook, instagram, orkut, whatsapp etc.

5) Personal website
These websites focus on individuals and are created for a portfolio of work and
resume purposes. E.g. - srk universe

Website key terms

1) Static website
Static websites are totally built on HTML language, each web page is a separate
document if we have to edit something then you need to go to each page and edit. It
requires a web developer to update the website. It's cheaper to develop and host.

2) Dynamic website
Dynamic websites use complex code like PHP, asp. Web pages are dynamically
created as per database, easy to update content, and SEO friendly. But expensive
and take loa longer time to develop.
3) Responsive web design
It is an approach taken to create a website that gives users a more device-friendly
and better visual appearance on any device.

4) Web CMS
Web cms is a content management system, software to develop your website with
less HTML coding who have limited knowledge about coding can easily work on web
cms and easy to build your website and update content.

5) Domain
A name is used to reach the website and identify your website, each domain is
attached to an IP address where your web page data is stored.

6) Web hosting
Provides us to post websites or web pages on the internet through any device.

7) Wireframe
The wireframe is a blueprint or visual structural plane of the website created to
arrange web page elements.

8) Navigation
Navigation is a roadmap used to track different information on a website.
How to create a website
Steps to create a website
>>Go to go daddy website and create an account

>>Sign in to go daddy

>>Search a domain name

>>Add to cart

>>Go to hosting

>>Select a plan

>>SSL certificate

>>fill personal detail

>> Apply promo code (if any)

>> Payment

>>Go to my product

>>verify domain with email id (given in go daddy account)

>>go to my product

>>go to web hosting setup

>>select data centre

>>create cpanel account

>> go to cpanel via www.yourdomain.com/cpanel

>> Next create wordpress account

>> click on set up site

>> Search for domain

>> After searching your domain go to word press login

>> Login to your account

 >> go to dashboard

>>select theme

>>go to plug-in deactivate existing plug-in and delete the plug-in

>>now install new plug-in

>> activate the plug-in

>> Now go to pages delete existing page and add pages to your website

>> Now go to page which u have added earlier and start designing and adding
content to your pages.
