ACTIVITIES
Learning Activities:
Imagine that you are the barangay
captain in your town, identify one
ongoing problem in your town and
draft your specific plan of action to
mobilize your resources. Teacher will
give a template to the students to
answer the following questions:
What is the problem in your
community? Where did the problem
come from?
How can you solve the problem?
Why do you think it is important for
you to solve the ongoing issue?
ONLINE-BASED ACTIVITIES
A. Motivation
Draw it!
In this activity, the teacher asks the
students to draw a symbol or an object
about community without a leader. She
provides examples of the symbol or an
object. The teacher calls few students to
explain their outputs. The students are
given 5 minutes to do the activity.
B. Presentation / Discussion
The teacher will present the different
elements of the community including
the different community leaders,
sectors. Students will watch a video
about a small community in the
Philippines tested by challenges but
managed to rise because of community
 power and community leaders.

C. Assessment
Let the students transfer their learning
on the topic on a slogan and poster. The
slogan must depict the theme about
community power.
