 Description : This part shows the detail description of subect .It may include the
Information about the appearance or qualities of.

Language feature :

 Using simple present tense : S+v1 + o+ adv


 Using adjective and adverb
 Using present passive voice : S+V1+ o+adv dalam active voice berubah menjadi
O+ To be (am/is/are)+ verb3 +by+ subject+ adverb.

Example1. - Active : I clean the room every day.

- passive : The room is cleaned by me every day.

2. Active : You write a letter to your parents.

Passive: A letter is written by you to your parents.

3. Active : My sister sends the packages to Palembang.

Passive: The packages are sent by her to Palembang.

MAIMUN PALACE
Maimun Palace is a tourist destination in north Sumatra which has historical and
cultural values located at jalan Brigjen Katamso Aur, Medan. This Palace is Iconic to Medan.
The building stand on an area of 2.772 square meters and is the heritage of the Deli
Sultanate . It was designed by an Italian architect and built in 1888 under the rule of Sultan
Makmun Al Rasvid Perkasa, the sultan of Deli.
The Palace was stunning architecture it combines Islamic, Dutch and Malay
architectures with a dominant colour of yellow, typical of Malay. This Two-storey building
Is devided into three parts,namely The main building,left and right building parts. It’s
supported by 82 octagonal stone pillars and 43 wooden pillars.
The first floor display antiques such as old furniture and ornaments, while the
second floor is used as the residence of the sultanate familiies. There are 13 rooms on the
second floor, 7 of which are the main building . 3 rooms in the left wing part and 3 other
rooms in the left wing part.
