D. Concept:

It is a common thought to believe that the “small” amount of


hazardous household waste each individual produces makes such a minimal
impact on the world. Nearly every activity leaves behind some kind of waste
in the environment. When you take into account how many people there are
in the world – 7.4 billion to be exact – that waste adds up quickly.

It is a common thought to believe that the “small” amount of

impact on the world. Nearly every activity leaves behind some kind of waste
in the environment. When you take into account how many people there are
in the world – 7.4 billion to be exact – that waste adds up quickly.The
projected annual waste of the Philippines at 18.05 Million Tons by 2020,
according to the latest Solid Waste Management Status Report (2008-2018).
By 2025, solid waste generation of the Philippines  is expected to
become 77,776 tons daily. In our country, a person generates around 0.40
kg daily solid waste alone. Alarming iy seems

I. LEARNING PROCEDURE:

A. Engage (7 minutes) – Prediction-Obsevation-Explanation Approach

 Picture Analysis through MENTIMETER.COM:


 A picture is presented through mentimeter.com and instruct
the learners to share draw their insight through
Mentimeter.com Word cloud.

 The learners will send their insights virtually.


 Call 3 learners to share drawn insights through Google Meet.

B. Explore (10 minutes) – Cooperative Learning/Guided Inquiry based


strategy
 Group Activity :
 Group the learners into 2 groups. Each group will be given a situation
presented through PowerPoint.
C. Explain (20 minutes)
 Each group will present their answers in front of the class.
D. Elaborate (10 minutes)
 The teacher will further deepen the lesson regarding on how to draw a
conclusion from a result and discussion align with the statement of the
problem.
 Generalization: How will you draw a conclusion.
E. Evaluation (10 minutes)
 Assessment will be administered through Google Form
F. Extend (3 minutes)

Assignment:
 Draw a conclusion from the processed data presented.
