The teacher will present pictures of caregiving tools, equipment and paraphernalia and the students will identify the
function of each caregiving tool and equipment.

C. Presenting examples/ instances of the new lesson

The teacher will present short clips or videos showing the use of caregiving tools, equipment and paraphernalia and the
students will share their ideas about their experiences on using the tools being presented.

D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills

The teacher will discuss the procedures and proper use of caregiving tools and equipment.

E. Developing Mastery
The students will Arrange the steps in using the caregiving tools and equipment given.

F. Finding practical applications of concepts and skills in daily living

The class will be divided into 4 groups. Each group will discuss and demonstrate the procedure and proper use of their
chosen tool or equipment.

G. Making generalizations and abstractions about the lesson.

1. Enumerate the different tools, materials and paraphernalia in caregiving based on their function.
2. Explain the importance of proper usage of tools, equipment and paraphernalia in caregiving.
