B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson
Is it necessary to learn about Carpentry tools and equipment? Why or why not? Sharing.
C. Activity
Shopee Delivery Activity- Guess the word/picture based on it’s description.
Let the students guess the mystery box inside the shopee basket according to its uses.

D. Analysis
How did you find the activity? Sharing.
What is the purpose of familiarizing the use of Carpentry tools and equipment?
What will happen to the operation in the Carpentry works if tools are not available?

E. Abstraction
Thorough discussion about the Carpentry Tools and Materials – their descriptions and uses.
Carpentry Tools:
Pull Push rule- it is use for measuring long, short and straight lengths.
Hacksaw- it is fine toothed saw used to cut metals and pipes
Claw Hammer- it is used for driving and pulling out nails.
Cross Cut Saw- it is tool used for cutting across the grain
Plumb Bob- it is used for vertical alignment
Materials:
Nails- it is use for fastening one or more objects to each other.
Screw- it is used to secure connection of wooden materials

F. Application/Practice

The students are group into 5 groups and use the claw hammer and the cross cut saw tool.
Emphasize safety while doing the tasks.

G. Assessment
Using the rubric below, the students will be assessed based on how they use each tool.
