Answer the following questions:

1. When did you experience the Spirit as the inner source of your faith and strength? If not yet, are
you open to experience the Spirit of Risen Christ whenever it is already time? (10 pts.)
Ans.
I experienced the Spirit as the inner source of my faith and strength when my
father was in the hospital due to COVID-19. During that time, we don't have anything,
we don't know what will happen at any moment. And I will admit that during that time, I
felt so vulnerable; I don't know if I had the strength to stay because I was so weak,
especially when the doctor declared my father dead; I felt as if my world had shattered. I
don't have anything to do but cry and cry, begging that this is just a big prank, but no. I
didn't sleep that night for 24 hours. I just cried until no more tears came out during that
time. I thought, I can't take it anymore. I want to do it with my father, but it is not
possible. That was the time I just prayed to God, asking what to do. I was also begging
him to bring back my father. It was a no-no deal. Instead, he gave me the strength to
continue to move forward, and I submitted myself fully to God. That was the starting
point where the spirit of God was my inner source of my faith and strength until today
onwards.

2. Was there an occasion when the Spirit inspired you to share what you have to those who are in
need just as what the early Christian community did? If yes, please recount your story. If not yet,
what do you think hinder you from experiencing the Holy Spirit? (10 pts.)
Ans.
Yes, there was an occasion when the Spirit inspired me to share what I have
with those who are in need, just as what the early Christian community did. In our
community, there was an old woman living her life alone. She is around 80 years old and
she got a stroke and her half body was paralyzed. She didn't have anything to depend
on. But since our family is in her neighborhood, we are the ones looking for her, giving
her food to eat and taking care of her. Also, there are times that she asks us to pray with
her, doing the rosary every evening. She also asks to attend mass even if it is online, so
we join her in her prayers. We also join her in her rosary. I let her watch an online mass
even though she can't see it clearly but she can hear it. Sometimes, if I don't have class
and I come home, I usually go to her because she was asking me to read some bible
verse and try to share it with her what my insight is and also what she got from it.

3. Was there an occasion that you fought for what you believed is right? Kindly recount at least
one experience. (10 pts.)
Ans.
Yes, there was an occasion when I fought for what I believed was right. I have
two friends. They have been my best friends since childhood. We are inseparable. Even
when we attend school, we are still together. Until I entered senior high school, my
parents sent me to a different school, a Christian school. That was the time that I
became separated from the two of them. Every Sunday I attend church, and every
Saturday I do bible study. My schedule during that time is full, and I don't have time to
be with them since there are so many things to do in school. And then one day, my
friends question everything I do, even why I go to such events. They said I will never be
happy with what I am doing; it will only hinder my happiness, so I should just stop going
to those events and just enjoy my life. I should have chosen whether to do what I am
doing or just leave and forget they are my best friends, but I chose to honour God
instead. That was the time I looked at them with shock. How could they say I am not
going to be happy with what I am doing? I love what I am doing and I will never stop. I
explained it to them, but they just turned their back to me, and that was the time I
realized there would always be sacrifices in order for us to find true happiness. I thought
before that I was very happy with them, but now I am much happier with God and I will
always choose him.
