A family is made up of two or more blood relations and is governed by the parents, especially

the father, who plans everything out within the family. It is the foundation of society and makes
special and irreplaceable contributions to the welfare and advancement of society. They are
primarily in charge of educating and acculturating their children, as well as teaching civic virtues
and a sense of social responsibility.

Composition of the family

Father - He is in charge of providing for the family's needs as the leader of the household.
Additionally, he sees to it that his children are raised with morals and values so that they become
respectable adults who are likewise respected by others.

Mother - She supervises the family's finances and serves as its manager. In addition, she keeps
the family happy and protected. She will just go over and beyond for the entire family. She also
has responsibility for the household, family, and kids.

Elder Brother - He is the mini-father of the family, wherein he takes the role of the father every
time the father is not at home. He tends to protect the family and make sure that his siblings are
doing the right thing. He will sometimes discipline his siblings in order for them to become good
people.

Eldest sister - She serves as the family's "mini mother," caring for her younger siblings and the
home when the mother is away. She ensures that everything is in good order and that her siblings
are doing well.

Elder sister - She is the assistant of the oldest sister, and she is also responsible for taking care
of and protecting younger siblings when their parents are at work or otherwise occupied.

Younger sister - She is also like the other sisters; she takes care of their younger siblings, doing
household chores and keeping them company; she plays with them and keeps them safe.

Younger brother - He is like the elder brother. He makes sure that his family or siblings,
especially his sisters, are protected from hurt, but still respects their right to make their own
decisions.

Youngest brother - He is considered the baby of the family, which means he has fewer
responsibilities and more opportunities for fun. He is also the stress reliever of the family.

Structure

My family is patrilineal, meaning that my mother and my siblings, including myself, are
essentially part of our father's kinship group. We fall under the neolocal when it comes to our
place of residence because my parents built our house apart from both sets of relatives. In terms
of authority, they fall under the term "equalitarian" because they ensure that both parties have a
voice in every choice.

Developmental Stage of the family

- Under the launching family the tasks/ challenges currently encountered by the family
are rearranging the home physically and reallocating the resources according to
priorities to meet the needs of remaining family members. Also, maintaining
communication within the family to contribute to marital happiness while remaining
available to young adult and other offspring.
