NCM 107: Maternal and Child Health Nursing 1 st Semester. A/Y 2022-2023
SDG # GOAL NAME CONCRETE ACTION
1. No Poverty As a Vincentian nurse, I can support efforts that
collect supplies for disaster victims. I give away my
clothes, food, and other items to help those in need.
I'll lend my support to neighborhood charities that
will give my gently used clothing, books, and
furniture a new life, and I'll speak out against
extreme poverty.
2. Zero Hunger As a Vincentian nurse, I should refrain from wasting
food as it will help us reach the aim of eradicating
hunger. If I can't eat leftovers or fresh food before it
spoils, I should freeze it. Because the meat
manufacturing sector has a significant negative
influence on the environment, I should reduce my
meat consumption and adopt a vegetarian diet
once a week.
3. Good Health and Well- As a Vincentian nurse and medical professional, it is
being important for me to vaccinate my family, the people
close to me, and myself in order to protect everyone
from disease and promote public health. In order to
assist and volunteer, I should enroll in my country's
organ and tissue donor register as a student nurse.
Additionally, I'll be actively taking part in the blood
donation event because it helps those in need and
saves lives.
4. Quality Education I can tutor young people, help them with their
homework, teach a language, or provide a lesson on
the Global Goals as a Vincentian nurse. Additionally,
I will donate my used books so that others can
acquire knowledge easily.
5. Gender Equality I'll be a strong person to stand up against harassment
as a Vincentian nurse. I will speak out against
harassment whenever I witness it, whether it takes
place in the workplace, public places, my home, or
online. I will also state that I favor equal pay for
equal effort.
6. Clean Water and I'll lead a campaign on hygiene as a Vincentian nurse.

NCM 107: Maternal and Child Health Nursing 1 st Semester. A/Y 2022-2023
Sanitation By using social media, a campaign at my school or
university, or even one in the area where I live, I may
bring attention to the cleanliness issues in my
community. Furthermore, I'll plan a river and ocean
clean-up effort. Clean up a nearby river, beach, or
ocean by involving the entire community. I will also
add my voice to the discussion about the absence of
restrooms in many towns worldwide!
7. Affordable and Clean I won't use multiple devices simultaneously as a
Energy Vincentian nurse. I'll be careful and just use a few
devices when they are absolutely necessary. As well as
turning off the air conditioning, I'll open a window or
use a fan while we sleep instead. I'll also install solar
panels and use solar energy sources for our home's
heating and electricity.
8. Decent Work and I will practice conscientious consumption as a
Economic Growth Vincentian nurse since if something is cheap, it
probably harms people or the environment in some
way. I'll set up a mentoring program as well. To help
young people better prepare for their future jobs,
form a mentoring group with professionals with
experience in that sector. I'll also add any potential
workplace rights. Knowing what they are entitled to
can help them access justice much more easily.
9. Industry, Innovation Since there are many public areas with free Wi-Fi,
and Infrastructure as a Vincentian nurse I will create a hotspot map.
I can assist more individuals in getting online by
laying them out in my community and raising
awareness via social media, flyers, or
announcements. I'll also organize or take part in a
Think Tank competition. Whereby I can encourage
the entrepreneurial spirit of myself and our co-
workers by hosting a regional concept competition
and inviting businesses or start-ups to mentor the
winners.
10. Reduced Inequalities Since everyone is equal regardless of gender,
ethnicity, sexual orientation, social background, or
physical ability, as a Vincentian nurse I will speak out
against any form of prejudice. I'll also run a voter
registration drive because the underrepresentation

of minorities and disadvantaged groups in
government is one of the problems fueling rising
inequality. To increase their participation and
representation in institutions of power, I will conduct a
voting registration education program among these
groups.
11. Sustainable Cities and As a Vincentian nurse, I will take care of public spaces,
Communities begin by taking care of them personally, and
motivate others to do the same. I'll water the plants,
prune and plant trees, rehabilitate play areas and
sports fields, and organize clean-ups. I'll also support
an initiative to provide safe housing in slums.
Additionally, I will volunteer in slums to build houses,
fix existing ones, and create public or green places.

Consumption and companies with unsustainable practices as a
Production Vincentian nurse who advocates for corporate
responsibility. I'll also conduct some study and only
make purchases from businesses whose sustainable
business practices I know won't hurt the
environment. I'll also support local companies
because they provide jobs and help the
neighborhood economy.
13. Climate Action As a Vincentian nurse, I will buy environmentally
friendly goods and check the packaging to determine if
they were made in an environmentally beneficial
manner. I'll also use less paper, refrain from printing,
and switch to electronic devices or carriers instead.
Additionally, I will compost food waste to lessen my
influence on the environment and recycle nutrients.
14. Life Below Water As a Vincentian nurse, I'll plan a clean-up initiative for
rivers and oceans and involve my entire
neighborhood in sprucing up a nearby river,
seashore, or ocean. I'll also run a campaign to raise
awareness of how using plastic affects the oceans
and seas.
15. Life on Land As a Vincentian nurse, I will clean up the parks and
forests around here. In order to preserve the
ecosystem of my neighborhood green space, I will

NCM 107: Maternal and Child Health Nursing 1 st Semester. A/Y 2022-2023
either organize my own clean-up event or participate
in one that already exists. By working with groups
that support both these pets and threatened species, I
will also volunteer with organizations that help street
animals or animal shelters.
16. Peace, Justice, and As a Vincentian nurse, I will speak up and urge the
Strong Institutions authorities in my community and country to take
actions that do not endanger people or the
environment. I'll cast my vote and exercise my
right to choose the leaders of my nation and
neighborhood in order to have a peaceful community
and country.
17. Partnerships for the As a Vincentian nurse, I will support export by
Goals purchasing goods from underdeveloped nations.
