1.What does it mean to go on a date?

- It means that you are meeting with someone and spending time with them. It is also a
way to know each other.

2.What are the activities usually done during date?

- The activities usually done during date usually is eating in a restaurant, strolling,
watching movies and other activities that includes spending quality time with each other.

3. How does it differ from a regular outing?

- Dating involves emotional connection with each other which can led to a relationship or
for those who are in a relationship is simply a way of having a good time to strengthen
their relationship. Regular outing doesn’t involve emotional connection, it might be
simple or casual way to meet a person.

1. If you are engaged, which do you prefer, long engagement or short engagement period.

- I prefer long engagement period, because with the long period of time you’ll have a
chance to know more of each other. With the long period of time you’ll have enough time
to decide whether you are ready or not to commit the sacrament of marriage.

1. What are the benefits of dating as a couple?

- It helps you to know each other more.


- It builds up connection between the couple.
- It strengthen their relationships.
- As you date you spend a good time with each other
- Creates memories as a couple.

2. What are the benefits of dating as a group?

- It will help you gain more friends.


- You will also get to know other people’s life
- It will strengthen the bond of your friendship

5. Pregnancy among teenagers

- I am not in favor of pre-marital sex. It is a mortal sin which is mentioned on the 10


commandments. It is a big sin to have sex before marriage. Lust is the reason to Pre-
marital sex which is one of the 7 deadly sins. It also has many effects to human which can
led to pregnancy which is also immoral to the Catholic Church.

1.Reflection: Do you think a First Year College Student like you should already be
allowed to go on dates? Justify your stand.

- Yes, because we are mature enough to have a date with someone else. We are
emotionally prepare to go on to a date. But still it depends on the person, if they are just
new to it they might need a support with their friends or relatives. Supporting your
friends gives them more confidence and courage when they are just new to dating.

1. Draw your dream family. Below the drawing explain why you choose your dream
family.

-I choose this dream family because for me we will get along together and have a good
bond with each other. As time passes by we will also work as a team and support each
member of the family. Beyond my perception is that we will love and take care of each
other and never let anyone of us down.

- ”We’ve met in Pagbilao. It is because of our friends there”

2. Do you automatically feel in love to each other?

- “We didn’t automatically fell in love with each other at first because we knew that it
takes process to develop a love with each other.

3. How long is your courtship? Engagement, before marriage

- “It lasted for about 1 year and a couple of months for us to be engaged.

4. When is your marriage anniversary?

- “Our marriage anniversary is on February 12.

5. What do you think makes your marriage successful?Explain

- “What makes our marriage successful is the love between each other, we care and love
each other since the beginning.

6. What have you learned in getting into a lifelong relationship?

- “We learn to be patient whenever we experience some problems that is happening to us,
we also learn that time is very precious in a relationship and we also forgive each other
when we committed a mistake.
