Các từ để hỏi thường gặp trong Tiếng Anh

 What: cái gì (Dùng để hỏi cho đồ vật, sự vật, sự kiện…)
 Which: cái mà (Dùng để hỏi khi có sự lựa chọn)
 Where: ở đâu (Dùng để hỏi cho vị trí, nơi chốn …)
 When: khi nào (Hỏi cho thời gian, thời điểm …)
 Who: ai, người mà (Hỏi cho người)
 Whom: người mà (Hỏi cho tân ngữ chỉ người)

Eg: I buy him some books.

=> Who/ Whom do you buy any books (for)?

=> Whose: của người mà (Hỏi cho tính từ sở hữu, sở hữu cách, đại từ sở hữu)

Eg: This is her pen?

=> Whose pen is this?

Why: tại sao (Hỏi cho lí do, nguyên nhân)

How: thế nào (Hỏi cho tính từ, trạng từ, sức khoẻ …)

How old: hỏi cho tuổi

How tall: hỏi cho chiều cao của người
