low costs, it has become essential to find new solutions that
respond these requirements. Ultra-Wideband seems to be a Figure 2 depicts the Reflexion Coefficient S11 of the

limits are from 1.7 GHz to 10.1 GHz.
As UWB systems are characterized by a low emitted
power which degrades the performance of the UWB systems,
to surmount this limit, the MIMO technology which uses
multiple antennas in transmission and reception can be a
solution. Therefore, MIMO technology can be incorporated
with UWB systems to solve several drawbacks of UWB
systems such as the data rate which exceeds 1 Gbits/s for
Wireless Communications. But, the combination between
MIMO and UWB technology has the difficulty of isolation
between the radiating elements.
In the literature [1-11], several decoupling techniques are
studied to obtain high isolation; by orthogonally feeding [6,
7], introducing neutralization lines [10, 11], using stubs [8,
9], and insertion of Defected Ground Structure (DGS) [7]. (a)

CONCLUSION
In this work, a UWB MIMO antenna is presented. The
impedance bandwidth of the suggested system varied
from 1.4 to 10.6 GHz. By implementing a stub in the
ground plane, the performance in terms of isolation can be
enhanced significantly and the obtained results are in good
accord. This MIMO antenna thus promotes high speed
transmission
